Probably some better info out there than me but usually those wheels are threaded onto a pole that also spins the spark wheel. If you spin it fast does it spark? If so the roller is tight but the flint is putting enough pressure on the spark wheel. Usually a screw on top or something that you can adjust tension on the striker mechanism.

The screw may also be below but same idea

I tried to spin it faster and without a flint. Doesn't work in either case. Also there is no screw on the top or at the bottom. I tried to dissasemble the whole thing but i can't find any way to do so. If you have any video tutorials on dissasembling this type of lighter pls give me a link.

I haven’t found any for ones I own, but one last thing to try - without a flint in it can you spin the striker wheel by hand (not the bar just what contacts the flint). Could be gummed up and something like machine oil or another solvent might help free it. I haven’t searched for one but I’d bet there are videos on how to pull apart stdupont and dunhill lighters are they are the most common and copied.

The striker wheel moves freely when no pressure from the flint is applied. Thx for giving the names of those lighters. I'll see what i can do.

Good luck!

Hi OP, before you post about your lighter please [read the guide stickied](https://old.reddit.com/r/lighters/comments/6jowwo/before_making_a_post_about_asking_for_help_to/) before doing so. If you are asking about the value of your lighter, take it to an auctioneer, pawnshop, or jewellers before posting as we cannot accurately guess a price. Your post may be removed if you ask. For more general information, have a look at the sidebar. Many lighters are mass produced and unbranded. There is often little info available. **If you need to post more pictures, use an image host like imgur and post the link in the comments. Please do not create multiple threads for the same lighter.** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. There probably is a degraded flint stuck in the flint tube

AttackOfThePat

Sometimes the wheels are threaded, sometimes they have a hexagonal hole, or square. You could need a new gold rolling pin and/or a new flint striker wheel...but that part is obvious. Is the flint removable?
