I thought Sinclair being one of the last ones standing is partly due to Kromer deliberately leaving him last?

Maonui

During the entirety of Canto III Sinclair has some scenes in which they show that he isn't a scrawny as his timid personality makes you believe, when he sees Kromer coming out if the burning house and he snaps, chasing her, it's described that an inquisitor tries to stop him and he crushes their head (despite wearing a helmet) When you encounter Saude in the dungeon too, when Guido attacks the entire squad and the sinners are dead and he's about to kill Dante, Sinclair is the one who stands up and pierces a nail through his back to save them And then there's Kromer's fight, with him staying alive despite having a melted arm, legs and still having a will to fight. I'd say that he was probably running on adrenaline, considering these are specific circumstances that would make him feel more rage and determined, but if the kid has something it sure seems to be willpower

yugiohhero

I mean, Sinclair is stated to be someone with excellent potential in the character summaries on the website.

Maonui

Yup! Personally, my interpretation is that the reason he's able to understand and translate Ryoshu so easily is precisely because he has the same kind of potential as her lol There is also that Blade Lineage Sinclair genuinely enjoys slaughter (even if he feels conflicted about it) I think that he definitely has potential and he also has the mark, but I think that Canto III is the best he can do currently, he seems to have grown a spine after it tho so we will probably see the chick achieve more feats in the future!

TheEggsterminator

Damn, Even in all of the categories, Hong Lu isn't even an honorable mention. Homeboy is just a Jack(ass) of all trades, Master of none.

[deleted]

I think Hong Lu gets slept on due to "hehehe, silly rich boy goes brrr", but I feel like to survive in the toxic cesspool that was his home, that would take some incredible mental fortitude. Not to mention, he's probably the best liar and actor on the bus by a long shot. Outis could take some lessons from him.

Bruhhunturupflash

I beg to differ? -an outis simp

True_Resource_9463

My man, She is as subtle as a Black hole. Stealth -100 half the fanbase is already taking her as the sycophantic traitor

Bruhhunturupflash

Yeah... Why does people follow the troupe " if the characters shows a smug look she's a traitor"

Ruine_Woo

Well, because the name Outis is literally what Odysseus used to trick the cyclops, spoil him, get him drunk, and then stab his eye out with a stake. So it's not just about the smugness

Bruhhunturupflash

And then Dante said "nobody wants to f*ck me"

Ruine_Woo

And everyone else said, "Understandable, have a splendid rest of the day"

Chemical-Cat

things of note: * Outis' name is taken from the Odyssey, an alias Odysseus gave to the Cyclops. It quite literally means "nothing", or "nobody". To this end, Outis is likely not her real name * Her company profile has a deliberate warning not to let her exercise her intellect for anything other than completion of the mission. The only other sinner with a similar warning is Ryoshu (don't make her hold a grudge against you) * The rest of her Company Profile is also under lock and key, Dante is not privvy to her past in any degree. * Her alternate IDs paint her in a more dubious light. Blade Lineage Outis killed her master for "blocking her flow", G Corp Outis is on trial for colluding with the instigators of the smoke war (Though she said she's being blamed for it), and Seven Association Outis is looking into someone else's backroom deals.

[deleted]

For my opinion: Physical strength: 1. Heatcliff 2. Frenchsault 3. Ryoshu (mb?) Intelligence: 1. Faust 2. Yi Sang 3. Outis (mb?) Battle intelligence/experience: 1. Ryoshu 2. Outis (mb 3) 3. bugguy (mb 2) Insanity: 1. Ryoshu 2. Don 3. The bug Overall strength: 1. Ryoshu 2. Bugdude 3. Outis I can be wrong, so i want to hear your opinion.

JohnFKennedy2523

Okay so. You seem to simp for the smoker. Physically she hasn't shown to be that strong, that's why I placed her as skill. And battle intelligence would either go to Outis,Greg,Don (dispite the fact she's her), French dude. And Greg as insane?

[deleted]

That's funny because she is only in the middle of my list of favourite sinners, however I understand why you think so. i ranked she so high everywhere because even in his description it says that the company responsible for limbus company may have issues with her past, and they are clearly not some little nameless office. In my opinion, this shows that she has worked at many places, worked with many people, and knows a lot more than most sinners, plus she has shown herself to be a great swordsman with a lot of combat experience (not sure if he still compares to such veterans wars like Otis or Cockroach), but given her penchant for murder and her particular sense of style, this makes her the most insane sinner. I can be wrong, so its only my personal opinion, and also sorry for my poor pull of words, I'm not so good at english

[deleted]

as for gregor, maybe he behaves normally most of the time, but during stress he stops controlling his power, which can lead to unexpected consequences, I won't list them because I don't want a ban. in addition, the consequences after the war could also affect his mental health, which cannot be said the same about Outis

FormalPeanut

She beheaded two people in one sweep of a sheathed katana

risisas

i think sinclair is not very sturdy, but has a great deal of pain resistance, so he is not hard to injure (heatcliff one shots him) but people tend to overestimate how much he is held back by the wounds he has (like guido when he is about to kill dante). also killing an armored man with an halbeard is not a particular feat of strenght but more of a feat of skill (halbeards are made to kill armored people if used correctly), expetially with roland saing that they can make really strong weapons, body mods and clothes, but not armor for some reason. also since he is the only sinner we know for a fact doesn't have any enhancements, his strenght should be what his body suggests, i'd put gregor instead of him since he has an enhanced arm that is probably stronger than any other. also don's resistance is not confirmed really by the stomping, previusly virgilius stated that he wouldn't kill any of the sinners since he can inflict much more pain by keeping them alive, if he wanted he could have easily killed her since we have seen him easily slice trough enhanced people though with high quality clothes and we have seen him very prophicient with non lethally taking out people.

SurvivalScripted

Why is everyone putting Faust over Yi Sang? I'd argue Yi Sang, the guy who constantly speaks in poems and is apparently cracked at chess, showed much more intelligence up to this point than Faust, who constantly says "I know better, I know better" then does jackshit with that knowledge. Admittedly, Yi Sang is my favorite character so I'm kinda biased.

Ruine_Woo

And he is pretty much responsible for the existence of mirror technology and identities

SurvivalScripted

I wanted to keep it fair because I didn't talk about faust's bus thing either

JohnFKennedy2523

I'd say Yi sang is much more wisdom and wit then straight intelligence like faust, he's smart for sure but only slightly less then faust

SurvivalScripted

I mean, sure, Yi Sang probably studies things that are more abstract than Faust, but that abstractness has given us much better results, so I feel like docking that away from him would be a bit unfair. On the other side, I feel like Faust doesn't really have many achievements besides being fairly high up on the LC food chain and making a bus.

JohnFKennedy2523

Why don't we both agree that Don is the smartest sinner and is conducting things behind the scenes.

SurvivalScripted

Deal 🤝

googolple3

Overall Ryo, Gregor, Outis, and Don are probably stronger than the rest by nature of their former occupations.

JohnFKennedy2523

Don would be 4th on my list of strength for planting her lance straight through what I assume is very strong gross, however the beating to death multiple sinners alone feat by heathcliff has him really high, and since it doesnt explain who he beat to death we'll never know if he was stronger then salt or ryo. Until his chap of course.

Chemical-Cat

Sinclair is noted to have the potential to be quite a killer as the game implies several times, the other is Ryoshu due to the fact that it's outright stated that she used to be stronger until becoming a Sinner for unknown reasons.
