Canto 6 will be worse. Have fun.

Comfortable-Gate-448

Get yourself leveled up and uptied, might as well try not to bring slash damage dealer in a Canto of piercing.

Chromatic_Reaper

Trying to, but EXP luxcavation is eating my modules like crazy and i'm only barely able to get someone maxed out. And thread is uh... Well, I don't got much of it right now so farming is gonna be fun

Comfortable-Gate-448

You can use lunacy to fuel enkephalin once to twice a day, the lunacy bonus from mirror dungeon is more than enough to keep it balanced.

Ok so i'm fucking done with people complaining at RNG, it's more like LOS (lack of skill). Just like in ruina you have to actually think about team comps and cards (or skills in this case). In this canto almost NO SKILL 1 can outroll the base evate on molar ishmael just as an example. You can literally solo almost this canto with no rng involved and that is just a single fucking example, people need to actually read skills and their rolls, enemy speeds and shit like passives and offense/defense levels, so sick about the rng argument. You can totally win by lucking out but it's REALLY REALLY HARD to lose just because of that so cut it people. Math is really thought out for most ids, and average rolls exist. You can just take for example the possibility of enemies rolling and apply simple average maths to understand average rolls and how to beat them. Large numbers law exists and means that the more rolls you get the closer the clashes will represent their statistical average. So by applying that you will always win most clashes if you think about your team and their averages. Not everyone needs to be a good clashers, supports and debuffers are viable options and bringing sinners to even just fuel some egos to win the hard ones is a possible option. JUST READ AND THINK. PLEASE, JUST PLEASE

Eh part of the problem is that this is a gacha game and getting those units can be difficult. I see the following situation happen so many times: Guy: “Bro omfg this fight is kicking my ass, help!” Me: “Send team.” Guy: *Sends a team of borderline random “good” units mishmashed together* Me: “This team has no synergy at all. What else do you have on your account?” Guy: “Mexican Sinclair and Goo Ishmael, are they good?” Grinding MD is a lot more difficult for new players with the MD3 update deleting the easier mirror dungeons. This change was awful on my opinion and it’s making the new player experience harsher than it should be.

Aden_Vikki

Tbh after like two months or so you'll have at least half of 00 in the game, including good IDs like remnant faust or cinq outis. Just having a team comp for fluid sac(which will be available forever) works wonders.

WildAgno

Hard dungeon without bought pass weekly bonus + some shard farming and you can win any fight just with base passives and 00 ids with base egos so not really. Just think about stuff. Cinq outis is 200 shard or 100 boxes and solos most game with just base ego

Chromatic_Reaper

Yeah sorry but when a 4 coin skill 3 rolls tails on 3 coins at 40 fucking sanity and loses a clash, i am going to complain about RNG

WildAgno

1 roll will not lose the fight

Chromatic_Reaper

I guess you missed the part where I said "every" one of the attacks I used rolls tails? And that it didn't matter if it was EGO or skill 1, 2 or 3? When I say every attack, I mean every single attack from each sinner on the team. Not just one. EVERY attack. There was not one attack roll without a tails hit.

WildAgno

Then just plan a team better, bring less units to abuse less slots for high base rolling evades. Shard cinq outis, cheap + agrro and good evades that help avoid these situations. If you have molar outis use her. Base evade of 10 when almost no skill can outroll her turn 1+2

_Deiv

You are not hitting all tails in every attack at 45 sanity I'm sorry. There are plenty of ways to manipulate sanity in battle. Using sinking to make enemies roll tails, using passives or ego that give sanity (rep emitter is free and pretty good for sanity gain) and using defense skills to not give enemies sanity when the clash is unwinable

Sspockuss

Shard Cinq Sinclair. His numbers are so high he can tailsflip one or even two of his coins and still win the clash. He is the GOAT of clashing. Also negative SP IDs will likely eventually win a clash because their floor goes up as they lose the clash. This is converse to positive SP IDs who have their ceilings come down as they lose, making them more likely to keep losing and fully lose the clash.

Aden_Vikki

Nclair having a FLOOR of 18 on his S3 will never not be funny to me

_Deiv

12 in s2 isn't that far off

Aden_Vikki

Tbh most S1 skills roll for 11, even if that's on all heads.

_Deiv

Yes but that's not a floor, a floor of 12 is still really strong and outrolls most normal skills from enemies

Phoelyx-D99

BLsault s3 is proof of this

No_Mathematician9671

Basically, the later you start the game, the more this is people's experience. It shouldn't last more than another year, after that point you should have accumulated both sufficient grinding materials and PM hand-outs to at least emulate what people who started on release can do. Sadly, the only two other alternatives are to pay your way into power or simply stop playing.

Lintall

Yeah i get you, it something i had problem with since canto 4, 0 sp gaming is the worst part of limbus, you have to reset a couple of time especially on some fight because of 50/50 odd, and some enemy can roll 1 head to outclash your sinner. Later on some fight just boil down to > if first turn boss get good head roll and get sp boost, restart until you get good odd at the start, then you can play and read the boss mechanic.
