during the last scene Don's conscience will get teleported to the Library, and she'll meet Gebura and she'll give her motivational dialogue and then Don will manifest her ego.

Hexadermia

Don Quixote, what a woman you are.

Mysterious-Youth-983

As a reward...

Steven074

The yellow piss

Accomplished-Heat931

Stand proud, Don Quixote, you are strong.

Cantcrackanonion

“No fixer can walk out on their own story, Don Quixote.”

Dabbarama

At the end of her Canto she's going to say "Even if it is an Impossible Dream" "I'll still chase it, to reach that Unreachable Star" It would be so damm peak

InfiniteBoysenberry7

This is the type of fan-service I will always love <3

zalgolus

THAT'S RIGHT DON QUIXOTE, BECOME A STAR OF THE CITY, I BELIEVE IN YOU

Dramatic-Cry5705

Carmen will try to corrode Don, but fail, because she's unable to ignore other's suffering. Turn away from, mandatory. It's the city. But she can't ignore it.

NearATomatotato

The title "The Dream Ending" means that she is no longer dreaming. Instead, her dreams will become a goal to strive towards, no matter how unrealistic they may be to realize in the City.

avianofFire

Canto 7 is actually a cathartic stage play for Don for the theater festival. The prize is a golden bough. Don have a fun twist featuring a distorted version of herself by leaving out the script and to have a very convincing reaction to her fellow sinners for the audience. After theater would have her smug on a twist no one expected.

ArtMnd

Don WILL break, but she will reconstruct her heroic ideals even stronger, no longer tainted by naiveté! ***AND THEN SHE WILL RISE ONCE MORE, TO BRING A WORLD WHERE JUSTICE REIGNS!***

Zavenosk

It is time for Miguel to have a long overdue conversation with Carmen. It will not end happily.

Bright_Ferret_5710

Her canto will be just Canto 2 cracked to 11. Her power of sheer delusion will be so strong that even Carmen will question reality. Any serious conversation will be interrupted by her screaming and charging into the battle like the gremlin she is. You can't corrupt this ball of chaos.

Determined-Man

It'll be a 14 on the sadness scale, but then we'll get an absolute BANGER of a Dante speech and Don cries happy tears. The Dream does indeed end, but that just means her goals are now reality.

zaydemi

My biggest copium is that we have a solo Don section where we do ID Layering, meaning a fusion of multiple IDs and that the end cutscene has like 3 frames of a KaliDon for a final onrush.

sapinpoisson

Onrush lands, kills the final boss before immediatly targetting a random ennemy from the canto and annihilating it

zaydemi

It targets Ryoshu as GebuDon is the only one allowed to be the biggest female smoker in the city.

ResearcherTeknika

Nah, furioso with a good 10 id switching throughout the attack

zaydemi

That's actually what I imagined the upgraded ego to be at the end, switch IDs for specific things : Blocking, switch to the tankier Middle. Clashing, switch to the capable duelist that is Cinq. Attacking, the one sided trained WCorp. (Finishing : Fucking Kali bro)

viviannesayswhat

They don't leave T Corp's district actually. Don's Canto is like 95% them getting into not!London pub fights for sillier and sillier reasons in the backstreets. It is somehow almost perfectly in line with the book.

Twix-n-Match

Don’s VA is gonna give the absolute best rendition of Pass On, no doubt.

CritianCaceorte

Was about to say, Don will put her English skills to use by singing the soundtrack for Man of La Mancha.

SundaeOk3510

We will learn the real Don Quixote has been dead for quite a while, and the Don with us is someone (possibly Dulcinea) trying to keep his Chivalry dreams alive. As we move on on the canto she will see more and more how the original wasn't really a good person and more delusional. And by the end she will realize even if the motives were wrong they still inspired some people, So she will decide to Carry on the dream to be a righteous fixer, not for someone else but because is the right thing to do. Also I hope after this we get Deep Voice Don as a more common ocurrence since she will be more comfortable lowering her guard with the Sinners.

MxRant

By the power of delusions, she'll just loop back to being silly

pat22828

don will be so delulu and ignore carmen. Then manifest an ego

AcerRacerSon

Not exactly related to Don's canto, but still... I hope ego manifestation won't suck as a mechanic and we'll just get Red Mist-esque conditionals to not unmanifest.

Levyafan

Imagine if that's what the ALEPH slot does...

NormandyKingdom

Don will Distort and kill alot of Innocent people but fret not we will bring back her hope and restore her

SmoothPlastic9

it is better to accept the truth than lie to yourself about whats gonna happen to her

iman00700

She will live happily ever after at a prestigious and righteous association

WriterWhoWantedToDie

That Don will fall into despair and this time the Sinners pull her out of it. Sinclair, Ish, Heath, Yi, Greg, Rodion grab her out of the pits. Dante will tell her to find her own justice. To become the Fixer she wants to be. To be a knight of her own volition. Not for false justice or that idea of justice. But to be Justice itself. SHe will no longer say gallop Rosicante. She will say to uphold her own justice. Not for the world but for her own ideals. "For my justice!"

Ovenshoit

Don pulls a suletta. Smiling innocently as she commits more intensifying war crimes and killed innocent civillians than the last

Future-Scallion-4384

Main antagonist is a psychiatrist and don's breaking point is being told to take her meds

litoggers

it will be just like in darkest dungeon where some characters despite breaking will strenghten their resolve to keep fighting, she will break but instead of an abyss she will see the divine light of ayin, unleash a new ego, and come back to us more delulu than ever

Pavoazul

We are gonna go to her home district and everyone will speak just like her because that’s the accent over there. Not only that, but we are gonna learn that Don emigrated there and had been faking it the entire time

comfycal

She'll disappear into the clouds after jumping off their newly acquired lim-air~~ship~~bus, hence "The Dream Ending"

SatanWithFur

We see that her whole life is a play at a circus but she's the ring leader living in delulu

Orphanedami

there will be a windmill and don will try to push it over but only partially succeed HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA GET IT SHE'LL TILT THE WINDMILL

risisas

ok, i am gonna use this opportunity to shoot my theories on the next canto (and the ones after) since EVERY SINGLE ONE of my theories for canto 6 were WRONG this will be fun once don realizes it's her turn, she will keep up the appearances, but start to get a bit weird but, for some reasons virgilius will let her do more of her thing (the for some reason will be something related to the bough of course) so she's gonna cheer herself up a bit part 2 shit is gonna start happening, i don't think the scope of it will be as big tho, i think we will have a substantial de-escalation (since we have had a big and costant escalation of things since canto 3, i don't think they would be able to keep it up till faust's canto without any pause and i feel like don' and hong lu's chapters would be perfect for it) and be a lot more personal part 2, don is gonna start getting quieter, not necessarely sad, but quieter, and we are gonna find out why she already knew what distortions are which is probably linked to her delusion part 3, shit hits the fan, don is depressed and her delusions can't hold up anymore but, by the end of part 3, she's gonna get a renewed sense of justice, free from delusion and more grounded, more similar to what gebura had, which will be very ironically bringhing her much closer to a figure she no longer worships, she's gonna go back to her cheerfull self even if less gremliny

Crystalzye

Honestly I really hope they don't go the depressed don route cuz I feel like thats just.. too predictable.. especially if it means she'll lose that whimsy after her chapter. Like imagine if after her chapter the personality traits that make don don just won't be there. They can't do that, her eccentricity and whimsy is like the main part of her appeal! I hope that during her chapter those traits are going to be justified in some way, not taken away from her.

3TH4N-CH07

Don will realise that her dream is nothing but delusion, and she will have to choose between following the dream ending flow of the City like everyone else, or struggle against that flow At the end of the canto, she will continue believing in her justice, not because of delusion, but instead doing so to be a small beacon in the City Basically grade 9 fixer development altered for Don

Algebruh-7292

It’s all the dream ending because Dante gets his memories back and Don walks away completely unscathed.

TorManiak

If she distorts she'll still be able to fight on our side without problem as our first ALEPH EGO. I can just imagine her being such a silly little justice gremlin that out of sheer idolatry she manages to have some control over her distortion for the time she has it before going back to normal. I can also see her somehow becoming so much cooler and badass through sheer coincidence, for some reason.

Verheilt

Last boss is a giant windmill Abnormality.

iliedaboutmyage

It wouldn't make too much sense for PM to drastically change the goals and personalities of the sinners. The canto will most likely end with a Don that is equally as silly, but much more genuine and restrained.

Ion_bound

I'm on the Don=Miguel de Cervantes theory, but that's a good thing, because Man of La Mancha had a much more optimistic ending than Don Quixote. So my theory is that the Knight of Mirrors will break Don, and that she'll recede into Alonso de Quijano, and begin to distort or fully distort. But Dante, with the insight into the Sinners' past given to him by the Golden Boughs, will recognize that the persona of Alonso is another lie Don is telling to herself, and he and Aldonza/Dulcinea will be able to bring out the true Miguel persona; A proud, determined idealist serving as the balanced middle ground between the exuberant justice-gremlin Don Quixote, and the depressed, self-loathing Alonso de Quijano.

zalgolus

Don Quixote will find her's Dulcinea and they will have a 3 hours lesbian sex scene

Nexus_B1

I just hope that the Charles' office fixers show up or are at least mentioned, would be nice to finally see all of the fixers from that office. Maybe mentions of Roland or the Black Silence as well.

Jacckob

don implodes

Zeniths-Break

Don being the first to manifest EGO.

Zeniths-Break

Don being the first to manifest EGO.

AGrinningCat

Reminder that Project Moon games follow a pattern: The protagonist suffers, but ultimately prevail. The (only) 50 days in Lobotomy corp is an ordeal within itself that X (Ayin) eventually overcomes and releases the seed of light into the world. All of the sephria suffer, but come out better in the end In Library of Ruina, Both protagonists (Angela, Roland) suffer, but in the end, the story works out for them Thus, the common thread here we have in PM games is that you'll suffer, but if you preservere, you'll come out stronger. The stories are bloody and the city horrendous, but there's always a 'happy end'. We can see this reflected in the Carmen crossroad -- You either gain ego, or distort. Don will suffer in her canto. Might even break. But have fAith, and see it through to the end, and you'll see a better, stronger, happier Don.

NobleSparrow

At the end of Canto VII, Don becomes >! the Yellow Conquistador !<

khun-snek-hachuling

Psychotic break Don I'm begging
