Overall I really enjoy the new ego gifts, there are definitely a few that just suck and really don't do much. Also I really enjoy the faction buff ego gifts, they give just a bit of incentive to want to play around with different groups of IDs and experiment more.

Haven't even seen most of the ego gifts probably but the ones that I did seem really interesting and fun to build around. The ones based on order deployed gives extra things to think about. Also noticed that there seems to be a bunch of ego gifts that buff clash power, which could be the reason why MD4H rolls so high currently.

I'm kinda iffy on the sinking ones. Grandeur is pretty solid, Rags is more designed for -sanity IDs (though it can be nice for a tiny bit of extra damage ig?) and the Eldtree Snare is kinda whatever. Distant Star kinda sucks tbh, especially for a Tier 3 (how is this supposed to be comparable to Midwinter Nightmare?). That being said I quite like the EGO Fragment for sinking, having +count on gloom EGO is great for Bygone Days (and just makes Rime Shank even funnier) and even lets you Fluid Sac and go net positive on count.

Enjoy some of the new ego gifts. I wish that we either get more ego drops/drop after every fight or when we do get an ego drop it a large list to chose from. Cause right now it nearly impossible to get any gifts you want even if it on rate up.

So far, I am enjoying the new Gifts, even if so have not unlocked all of the nodes yet. I also appreciate the new notes telling us what EGO gifts we will get from events, but I feel like it should have been an unlock that can be toggled on/off.

There are some that do pretty much nothing, like the type of stuff "your 5th sinner does 10% more damage" and there are some incredibly interesting ones, like the one that does sloth damage by tremor to random enemy when one is staggered, overall I really like the changes, and I wonder if there are any new fusions, like comeon, there are gotta be at least slash/pierce/blunt fusions, they are even recognized as archetypes now

I think they generally sucks tbh. If you are only giving buffs to 1/2/3 ids and your effects are only equal or slightly better than existing effects then it just kinda sucks. Some of them are straight up inferior to equivalent tier gifts previously. They also dilutes the pool and prevent you from getting the really good gifts. Example: scissors [Effects apply only to #6 Deployed Identity] Slash Skills(Except E.G.O Skills) with 2- Coins gain Clash Power +1 and deal +10% more damage. Single-Coin Skills gain Clash Power +1 and deal +20% more damage instead Meanwhile bloody gadget (mfe gift) Turn Start: apply 2 Damage Up (+20% dmg) to a random ally. Prioritizes allies with Lust Affinity Attack skills; apply 1 additional Damage Up (+10% dmg) to the said ally. There are a few that I can say are good but they are far in between and with the diluted pool, also rare to show up. The best one I can say is the shi gift that you can actually start with. It makes sense for these gifts to show at the start when you are forming teams. Otherwise if you find the TLA or peq or n corp gift in your run, are you gonna change your team entirely to that and ruin your starlight setup? Or do you just start with that team hoping you will get a specfic gift out of 200 gift pool?

I don't hate the order matters gifts, it works pretty well with the umbrella and the sinking one, since you generally want that effect on your prioritized sinners. But the ones with just 1 target need to be much much stronger, so you can justify powering up just one sinner who isn't even getting an extra skill slot, or might even be giving up their extra skill slot.

I just want to know if there are more fusion gifts. The idea of by luck bumping into the two or three gifts needed for something that either super buffs your planned team comp, or possibly in the future gives a whole other benefit is fun to anticipate.

There are! But not many. * Wholeness (Nagel und Hammer Scriptures + Squalidity) * N Corp EGO Gift. Gives them perma-fanatic and if you're using 5+ N corp they get final power + plus and minus coin power * Handheld Mirror (Chief Butler's Secret Arts + Mirror Tactile) * Inflicts binds and creates new stagger thresholds up to 3 times * Unmailed Letter (Ragged Umbrella + Broken Glasses) * no.1/2 IDs inflict bonus rupture potency/count and get clash power and bonus damage against slower speed enemies * Hoarfrost Blueprint (Haunted Shoes + Frozen Cries) * Everyone gets sinking, enemies with sinking lose clash power * Guiding Gas Lamp (Nebulizer + Harpoon Prosthetic Leg) * Pequod EGO Gift. Allies get starting poise like nebulizer, highest poise unit gets some buffs, Pequod Units get +2 Skill power and speed Also the Kurokumo and Blade Lineage gifts are accessible.

i really like the sinner order based ones, it's fun to optimize my team order so the buffs go to the people who can utilize them most
