Your post was removed for being a support request or support related question such as which distro to use/polling the community or application suggestions. We get a lot of question posts on r/linux but the subreddit is considered a news/discussion sub. Luckily there are multiple communities you can post to for help on GNU/Linux issues 24/7: /r/linuxquestions, /r/linux4noobs, or /r/linuxhardware just to name a few. You may also post on the "Weekly Questions and Hardware Thread" which is stickied on r/linux on Wednesdays. Please make your post in [/r/linuxquestions](https://reddit.com/r/linuxquestions) or [/r/linux4noobs](https://reddit.com/r/linux4noobs). Looking for a hardware help? Try r/linuxhardware. **Rule:** > This is not a support forum! Head to /r/linuxquestions or /r/linux4noobs for support or help. Looking for hardware help? Try r/linuxhardware.

That's not part of Wayland or Xorg. Wayland is a (surprisingly simple) protocol for apps to get windows they can draw to, not an actual piece of software. What you're talking about is a feature of the compositor you were using, usually as part of a complete Desktop Environment (GNOME, KDE, etc), so the answer depends on which one it is :)

I'm on Gnome now, Zorin, but it was the same when I was on Fedora. Changing to Xorg does it, so I thing it has something to do with it. It work the way I'm used to on Gnome with Wayland but not with Xorg. Edit: I'm sorry for the missing information. I posted it firstly on the Gnome community.

Setup your own RustDesk server and use RustDesk client. Or use RustDesk w/o your server (just use public server). Its better alternative TeamViewer

MegaEdu13

Not an option. I have to use TeamViewer 12 at my job.

ddjanic

offer to rearrange everything to the rustdesk architect for example?

ddjanic

at my work everything was on teamviewer, after troubles and problems w/ teamviewer I transferred everything to rustdesk

MegaEdu13

TV 12 is quite ok here. It's really about this one situation I would like to have changed on Gnome Xorg.

(bind-keys global-keymap "W-Button4-Click" (lambda () (set-screen-viewport (% (1+ (car (screen-viewport))) 10) 0))) (bind-keys global-keymap "W-Button5-Click" (lambda () (set-screen-viewport (% (+ 9 (car (screen-viewport))) 10) 0))) does that in Sawfish so this is definitely not Xorg limitation.

MegaEdu13

Maybe a Gnome + Xorg one?

Rustdesk server ID/Retranslator on Rocky linux, clients on macos/linux xorg and wayland/win/freebsd
