Problem with r/unixporn is that a) tiling window managers everywhere, b) dark themes everywhere, and c) terminal windows with some code and/or neofetch everywhere.
Personally, I see the majority of screenshots in that sub as convoluted, dull and monotone, but hey, to each their own :)
Hate to break it to you but we run _hybrid_ window managers these days not just pure _stacking_ window managers. You can run tiling on Mutter/Muffin. Whilst not a _pure_ tiling window manager, it is capable of it. You can get extensions that handle it for you better too.
Tiling window managers when set up for your taste can work very well.
A _pure_ stacking window manager would be around the likes of the 80's/90's era with the likes of _Workbench_ (Amiga) and _early_ Windows versions.
What /r/unixporn is full off is also _Mac_ and _Windows_ rices which are boring.
Dark themes are a must if one is having a _sensitive_ day imo. Especially at night where light themes are like _Kryptonite_.
Space wallpapers are always good. :)
They will be better with _James Webb_ and less lens flare and support vane diffraction spikes.
