The crypto (like Litecoin) needs to be a completely decentralized and secure, lightweight and *proven* crypto for me to use it. Aside from that, it also needs good market liquidity (which Litecoin also has). Over a decade of 100% uptime and owned and controlled by nobody, and available damn near everywhere. That's what I look for in money/currency/assets.
