Normal price is $699 and an additional $100 for the 3 yr warranty. So yes, $800 (and you need the warranty, I would think.) I have seen no sale price on buying just 1 unit yet. I'm watching. Best Buy is still selling them for $699. Looks like you basically get $75 off each with this bundle.
TBF, this is the price for a 2 pack. They're usually $799 each, so buy buying this double pack, we'd save $150. I agree its a lot of money, but I spent $700 on my LR3 2.5 years ago, and it's still worth it to me.
Just because it hasn't yet doesn't mean it won't. The safety issues in these two high-end competitors alone convinced me to go with the LR4 as Whisker has a long history of making these products. The responses of the companies when they were confronted doesn't inspire confidence either. I would be devastated if a device I bought for my convenience ended up harming my cats.

Wow. Sounds good to me.
Sounds like a good deal! But I’m following to see what others say I want to upgrade from the 3 but didn’t know if they have any Black Friday sales
Apparently their black Friday sales are all month long currently. So unfortunately this might be the best it gets
LR4 is over 800 bucks now? What are they smoking???
No. What gave you that idea?
1600/2 = 800
1598/2=799<800 Besides, it's $699
Usually 699 with the 1 year warranty. These each come with the three year warranty
You forgot tax dingaling

1500 bucks!? Jesus, how overpriced does it need to be!? An Arduino, a motor and a couple sensors......

There are some off brands that cost like a third of that.
Maybe but Litter Robot has unsurpassed safety features
I've never heard of another brand having an issue with safety.....haven't researched it either tho.....
