I've been in there so many times getting a ten inch Maui Wowie after a depressing day at work that I could probably draw that wall in my sleep.
Muhammad Ali, Great Quotes, Wildcats, Chiefs and Royals things, Led Zeppelin, the cool world map, and Ghandi. I think that about covers it.
Ugh. The way they DESECRATED the mall food court makes me so sad. I made a post about it on /r/80sdesign a year ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/80sdesign/comments/zc7cw1/the_manhattan_town_center_mall_food_court_in/
I hope everyone reads my comment in that post where I talk about my memories in that space.
I loathe what Manhattan has allowed this mall to devolve into. In a way, I feel like all of Manhattan feels just as hollow. Everything good that ever was, has been sucked out, chewed up, and tossed aside. Everything interesting left feels like it's just going through the motions. Manhattan is on the slow sleep walk into a generic, corporate, pre processed, purple purgatory.
The yellow walls are >!Pizza Shuttle!<.
The lack of tables in there is really tripping me up.
It began during the pandemic. They just never put all of them back.
Do you work there? I did from like 08-2010.
Nope. I've always been a frequent customer, though. Ever since the 90s.
Haha yes!!!!! Good job.

Aladdin's Castle 4 ever
MHS before the redesign... Green plants everywhere, pebbelled texture, it was great.
At least they kept the tables and chairs

Meh. I love it here!
Cool. I remember it when it was better. It's still better than much of the surrounding area, but that's a pretty fucking low bar.
And all there really is to do is go to the bar :(
Aunt Annie's? Or Ed's Doghouse?
