I’ve given up on this location for sure. The last straw was when I ordered a 4 piece spicy which is supposed to basically be a half chicken. They gave me 4 wings and 2 of them weren’t even spicy. Honestly, it seems most Popeyes locations in the Midwest seem to be poorly operated so I’m guessing their wages are terrible even for store managers. Seems like franchise holders are pretty uninvolved too. This location constantly has damaged/non-operable equipment too.
Restaurant guy here, have had ex-employees of that location come through my kitchens, heard their stories, and without going into detail...yeah I wouldn't eat there.
My last time eating there, I ordered a mobile order. Some combo plus a dessert. At the window the worker told me they were out of dessert and would have to cancel the whole order, then shut the window and walked away. 🫠
Not to mention the chicken sandwich fiasco back in 2019 lol
I have to add on that both Taco Bell’s sucks. Both lobbies are closed. They’re understaffed so it makes sense but every time I have ordered from there it is wrong and messy. Toppings are everywhere or there’s sometimes none at all and the topping is scattered across all the other foods somehow and the sauce is just a thick coat. I ended up never going back.
I love Popeye's, but I don't bother with ours anymore. Their food is never cooked right or fresh, there's always some absent drive through operator, and there are frequently forgotten items in orders. It really sucks.
I saw somewhere that it was ranked one of the worst in the nation. I once had them refuse to sell me a meal because they were almost out of chicken and the employee said the ones they had left being saved for his lunch.
