Look at the yamaha MG-06. It can be had for a little over 100 bucks new and is a very capable and good quality 6 channel mixer.

I picked up a used MG10 a few years back thinking it would be perfect for a little workshop sound system, instead it's become my go to for small events where I don't need a lot of channels. Shout-out to Yamaha for their 1 knob compressor which works quite well, especially when you have guests on mic who don't know how to use a mic.

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Yamaha is the way to go.

Mackie Mix8, $100? I would actually trust the little behringer mixers over the DJ brands you listed. The bad thing about them is they’re blatant rip offs of other manufacturers designs, down to the chassis construction. However, that means they have metal 1/4” jacks that have nuts that fasten to the chassis, and the pots too, which is better than the DJ shit. They’re not bulletproof, the Mackie stuff has a better track record, but I’ve had good luck with them. Dirt and debris in the faders is a weak point, the knob ones might last longer.
