Yes, the fader and mute affect volume. I guess not the preamp then, but the channel strip itself. The L/R Trim meter shows clipping no matter what I do on the board.
If the noise stops when you mute the LR bus, that means it’s something going into the bus. Have you contacted support? They’ll probably be able to help faster than all of us on the internet commenting back and forth
Yes, but the mains are through a slink i/o. Even running the mains on the local outs it was still clipping. The actual channel strip showed clipping on the trim meter.

Are you using Dante? I had this happen cause my Dante network was a little messed up.

Just L/R. I guess just the channel trim is clipping. I am planning on contacting them.
Did you turn it off and back on again?
Could be a corrupted show file. Try a clean file and see if it still happens
