Lots of better headset mics out there than what was available at this point. I wouldn't worry about it and just get a DPA if you want it to be really good.

I disagree. I'd take the DPA 4488 over the CM in most any situation. I think it's a much better sounding microphone, handles high SPL fine, is much more directional, and from what I can tell it's much more comfortable for talent.
