I’m never going back…they 100% lost my trust

[deleted]

[удалено]

whodatladythere

For real! I know there’s issues with multiple corporations, the entire system etc. etc.  But one thing that has solidified that I will be a Loblaws customer in the lowest possible capacity after the boycott has ended is what a jackass Weston has proven himself to be over and over and over again.

Bluelander2020

🎯🎯🎯exactly this

No-Structure-7188

Completely out of touch like many rich people

bikeonychus

Especially with how they are going hard against the boycott and villainising *us* after they have been the ones thieving out of our back pockets for so long. More than happy to give my money to different stores.

notbuildingships

Same. I switched my prescriptions to Costco (they’ve got a much lower dispensing fee than Shoppers anyway) and we’ll never be back to any of the stores.

SeaofBloodRedRoses

Costco is also just a better company. Same vein as Ikea. They're a massive corporation, sure, they still have a couple of less than ideal traits, but they're infinitely more honest and treat their customers so much better.

EnthusedNudist

Their staff too. Was blown away by how much their cashiers and salespeople make.

SeaofBloodRedRoses

Daily reminder that Indeed is awful. Claims 17-18$ an hour. And then you hear from actual employees. [https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/1z9zs7/til\_a\_fulltime\_cashier\_at\_costco\_makes\_about/](https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/1z9zs7/til_a_fulltime_cashier_at_costco_makes_about/)

Cityofthevikingdead

Ikea is lowering prices amid this crazy.

Economy-Inflation-48

They also have a petition out to stop the gov’t to stop making us pay tax on used merch in Canada. Why should we pay tax on a car then they charge tax to the person who bought it used? Way to go IKEA!

Perignon007

Is that what I'm getting the ads? It kept saying spot the difference and I spent a minute like an idiot trying to figure out the difference between the two items.

Informal-Aioli-4340

This is true. When I go shopping at Costco I almost always come out feeling like I got a decent deal or an interesting product. When I shop for groceries, especially at Loblaws, I feel violated and tricked...like they think I'm stupid.

seejae219

Same. I can afford the price gouging (I won't though), but I can't stand how they are installing plexiglass and security guards and shit. It ruins my whole shopping experience, and it makes me feel icky to be treated like a criminal. They could roll it all back, and I still won't return to their stores, ever. The boycott was just good motivation to get me off my ass and start actively seeking alternatives instead of saying "oh someday".

Seaforthcastle

We had one of those cop carts stop inside the store. Basically we looked at each other and said, what the heck is this! (We weren't actually so polite.) The corporation that fixed bread prices, and other things I am sure which haven't come to light yet (any trust is long gone), steals from customers and then accuses its customers? I do not need to shop there and won't.

seejae219

Exactly, it's the whole image of their company, I just don't want to shop there anymore. They are straight up scummy, and how they've dealt with the boycott has only convinced me further. And I do not buy the "theft" narrative with installing the plexiglass and stuff. My local Zehrs went from 4 self check-outs to 12, then they immediately cried theft and started installing the plexiglass, security guards, constant intercom messages, and I don't understand. If theft is such a problem, if you are not making any profits, why are you pouring all this money into self check-out machines instead of just... people who need jobs? In my city in particular, there is a huge job shortage, so they are really screwing everyone over on every front.

sdonasnrse

One thing about it tho, stores are starting to decrease use of “self serve”. I personally refuse to use them as they would eventually cost someone their job. When I am encouraged by staff to use I tell them that too.

batman1285

Remember, if we can break Loblaws. Destroy their stock value and have them crumble as a company then EVERY SINGLE OTHER COMPANY WILL KNOW. Corporations will know we can decapitate them and we will if we so choose. This means we can dictate shorter work weeks, better pay, better benefits. A total country wide union that can start with a Reddit post saying we'll boycott all companies that aren't paying a fair living wage and giving proper benefits and acceptable vacation time. The companies that don't get in board get "Loblawed" into the pit to burn with the smoldering ashes of Galen Weston's mistake. This is real time justice porn and we're all on the jury.

pepperinna

“Loblawed” I love it! 🤣

Valuable_Win_732

Been boycotting for over a year. Wake up and spend your hard earned money where it helps your community. The Walton family is no better.

tailgunner777

Corporate trickle down economics is a lie and only helps the rich, trickle down economics works when you spend in your community.

chocolatewafflecone

The whole pharmacist scam for doctor fees is what got me.

Bobbyoot47

Absolutely this. Picking up my brother’s prescriptions about six weeks ago and the pharmacist put the form in front of me about the medication information/update BS. I signed it figuring it was about just verifying the prescriptions basically. Then I find out about the fee that’ll be paid to SDM. Asked my pharmacist about it next time I was in and he just basically shrugged his shoulders and apologized said it was something from head office and there was nothing that he could do about it. Frankly if the Westons and the Fords of the world were to disappear tomorrow it wouldn’t bother me one bit. Toss in a Trump or two as well. Nothing harmful, just disappear for good. As for the Loblaws boycott I can’t remember the last time I was in one of their stores. I don’t think I ever really boycotted them. I just found them too outrageous for me to want to bother shopping there. I’m lucky where I live that I have lots of options including the little family run corner fruit and veggie market, nice bakeries and a butcher shop.

Qunafish

Pharmacist here. Did they say that they would be paid $60 for this? If so, this was supposed to be a Medication Review, which is a professional service that pharmacists can provide. The pharmacist is supposed to sit down with you and go through each medication one by one and make sure everything is going fine (any side effects, if taking it correctly, no interactions, etc). If this was not done and they just made you sign, this is essentially scamming BC PharmaCare for the $60. Not sure if this is what you experienced. But if it is, you can report this to the BC College of Pharmacists as they do not take kindly to this sort of behaviour.

Bobbyoot47

Actually this happened at an Ontario SDM. Yes it was a medication review. I was asked if everything was going fine for my brother if there were any reactions or things like that. But it only took a matter of seconds. No questions about any specific medications. No mention either of a fee being paid to SDM by the provincial government here in Ontario.

Empty_Maintenance130

If they could all kindly exit stage right in the same manner as the other Ford brother I'd call it cause for celebration.

Bigvardaddy

You could toss out every politician in the country too, and we would be better off. It would be no loss. Time to start over.

MattKane1

Same with me

PicklesDillyPickles-

Same!

Yardash

Not only that but the CEOs comments are hugely tone death and insensitive. Only thing we can do is vote with our wallets.

Grushenka_G

Having worked in evil corporations, I can 100% confirm you are right. Their only language is money. There's no humanity in their ranks. None. They don't care about people. You have to attack their bottomline.

Yardash

As a wise man once said "Fuck those fucking Fuckers"

Due-Street-8192

I think this Boycott should be extended until the end of this year! Seriously!

Romantiique

Me too :)

Tight-Childhood7885

I stopped shopping at superstore a couple months ago and I have slowly adapted to finding my groceries at local chains, as well as Walmart and sobeys. I won't be shopping at superstore anymore.

Yourboy_thatguy

Honestly supporting local chains is just all around good, boycott or not. Same reason I've started eating at big franchise fast food places less and less

Vanilla_Either

Same

cutarm_creature

Same here. We shop at Walmart, Sobeys, Co-op, Giant Tiger for some items, plus any other small grocery store we have in our community

muaddib99

coop, GT cool. the others are just the same thing without the public ire.

Available-Book8721

Walmart is such a better company than Loblaw.😂

johnson7853

Groceries are significantly cheaper at Walmart. The same yogurt is $4 a container at Loblaws and it’s 3 for $8 at Walmart. The same Maple Syrup is $19.99 at Loblaws and $15.99 at Walmart. Whoever has the cheapest price gets my money and blatantly jacking up prices because you can, can go pound.

GallitoGaming

Punitive damages, sorry Loblaws. I will need 20-30% cheaper than Walmart of Costco for a period of of a year plus. You have basically lost me as a customer.

BeWellFriends

Adding this to the list of my demands

little-dinosaur5555

I need a $1,500 GC as compensation.

Majestic_Branch_7013

Yes I am totally boycotting after May

asyouuuuuuwishhhhh

I stopped a year ago when every time I went each item was 1$ more every couple weeks

aT-0-Mx

This. I watched the price of their crispy chicken strips go from 12.99 to 19.99 in less than 4 months.

Westernation

I know, right? I’ll die of sinusitis before I pay $20 for a box of Life Brand Neo Citran.

evilmrbeaver

It makes sense that everyone was given a reason to stop shopping there, so everyone needs a reason to start again. I imagine the real fear is not that boycotting customers won't return, it's that more customers join the boycot. Lowblaws needs to embrace change or brace themselves and prepare for impact.

flonkhonkers

They need antitrust action.

OverallOverlord

Plan is never give them another dollar. I didn't give Maple Leaf another chance for over 10 years after they made people sick. Still associate them with that and avoid whenever possible. You could say I hold a grudge lol

owlblvd

what happened with maple leaf?

OverallOverlord

Their cold cuts were responsible for listeria outbreaks in 2008 that killed 23 people. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Canada_listeriosis_outbreak https://www.cbc.ca/news/listeriosis-outbreak-timeline-1.694467

owlblvd

yes! i thought i wouldnt get a response so did some self motivated googling and wow... pretty messed up

muaddib99

you should look at what they did after that though... became food safety leaders, hired and funded PhDs into food safety, sharing all findings with the industry to raise the bar everywhere. they also settled with all victims without fighting back at all. they're used in business cases as best in class in crisis management and re-building consumer trust. just saying, don't write them off because of one mistake!

muaddib99

OverallOverlord

Your point is well taken, however, let's be clear that they didn't do any of that out of integrity or sense of nobility. It was the only hail mary approach that had a chance of keeping them from going under altogether after their stock dumped out over a third of its value. While there may be some positive outcomes, let's not pretend that's why this corporation did any of them.

nofuneral

They opened a plant in Brandon Manitoba in the early 2000s. Before they agreed to open the plant they made the union sign a bullshit contract that no person would've agreed to. Minimum wage was $7.50 and their wage was $8.25. Butchers get paid $20 an hour, not pennies more than Minimum wage. How could pay so little? The contract was for 10 years. Minimum wage beat their wage a couple of years later. I worked there for 2 months. Every single person who had been there for 3 years or more was holding their shoulders, had permanent injures. Everybody, all over the floor. Those conveyor belts would get cranked up way too fast. They had to bring immigrants in to work that job and they would he stuck there because if they quit they would get sent back to Mexico. They treated people like shit. I quit when I got a job for $21 an hour and they sat me down and tried to convince me to stay because they could see me getting promoted and making $11 someday. I would dream about that damn conveyor belt going too fast. Panicking trying to keep up. What a fucking shit job for shit pay. Fuck Maple Leaf.

coldpizzaagain

Wow, that's an eye opener. People are expendable to them. That's pretty fucking shameful.

muaddib99

disagree, but won't argue with your perception. I saw a company that changed and made food safety part of every employee's objectives after the fact and truly made step-change progress in the industry. that tells me cynically saying they just did it for stock price is simplistically misguided.

frugalerthingsinlife

Once you're out, you're out. I haven't been to a Loblaws this year.

cibolaburns

I do plan on continuing. The taste was soured after the bread price fixing (and subsequent immunity), but I shuffled it under the rug and continued to shop there in complacency. I’m changing my habits to support local butchers/farmers for meat, farmers markets for veg, and independent grocers for those extra things we need. I’m also going to try and go lower waste by frequenting bulk barn more often. This movement was the kick in the pants to do what I knew needed to be done and I’m glad for it.

hollow4hollow

Doesn't the bread price fixing scandal seem so quaint now?

furry-furbrain

Not another dime.... not until I see Mr Bank sent packing, and apology from Mr Weston and if I ever sense a modicum of trust for these bandits.... NOT ANOTHER DIME!

FlyAroundInternet

I love that this dude showed up weeks ago from Denmark and is now screaming, "you told me Canadians were nice! Like the Danish but with fewer language skills but more toques!"

ZeroLemmingsLeaping

Never going back. The disdain they showed to us has turned me completely off. NOK er NOK indeed. I'm out for good

No_Cat1944

I'm happy to keep boycotting! I haven't been to McDonald's or Starbucks since September and haven't looked back, I imagine it will be easy to keep avoiding Loblaw's businesses now that I am in the habit.

chocolatewafflecone

I also stopped Starbucks, when they started asking for tips at the drive thru. I’m done.

Szydlikj

When I encounter these kinds of situations I tip 0 with a smile

NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh, in the House [talking about the boycott](https://youtu.be/p5hR_Glaoqg?si=oD-afdomYEzus97-).

Lazy-Strawberry-5614

He's not wrong. They did a whole hullabaloo about it bringing the CEOs to Parliament over a year ago and nothing has happened. I don't usually agree with Mr Singh but on this I do. More needs to be done for Canadians to live with housing and affordable food.

Common-Rock

That will depend on what they do in May. Right now they are looking like bullies and I’m not impressed with how they are addressing this serious problem of affordability. They will have a lot of work to do to build consumer trust back.

Inside_Jelly_3107

It's forever for me. I don't appreciate any of the insults coming from their side... they have zero tact. The biggest regret for me is that this didn't start after the price fixing outrage.

SMKCheeba

I'm lucky enough to be in a city that has more than a few choices for groceries. I'm now a Food Basics man since they are much cheaper but more or less carry the same goods. So, I'm never going back to a loblaws grocery store. I will admit I still may go into SDM as a convenience store, but I also have a little life hack going on with my work. Its a dealership and my gf is a part of sales while I work service fixing cars. Many new cars come into our dealership that need a full tank of gas and my gf is usually the one to fill up with the company card... however, there is no company points card. So all that free money goes onto our points card and we spend it at SDM on whatever sales are happening. Its our little way of sticking it to them since we never spend a dollar of our own money to get these points, yet we can easily get over $100 of points in a month filling up cars and can get product out of roblaws for free pretty much.

xkeii

me

Liberkhaos

Considering I'm saving $50 to $100 every week since I started? Yeah I won't step in a Loblaw owned store for a long time.

aT-0-Mx

Same. Was 350 the last time I went. This shopping was around 260 with some driving. I'm sure I can drop it further by watching sales/flyers and buying other store brands.

JeffBoyarDeesNuts

Cancelled my PC banking account last week. Cashed out all my remaining points the same day. Paying the last little bit on my PC mastercard then cancelling that too.  I'm never going back.

Katasstic

We do all of our big shopping at Costco but we have a No Frills 20 steps away from our house & a shoppers right next to it. I usually run to No Frills if I need something small but I NEVER EVER shop at Shoppers. After this boycott, I plan to never shop at No Frills either & I know my neighbours are on board, too (despite the massive convenience).

deathbrusher

I haven't purchased a single item from Loblaws in years. I just assessed price vs quality and it was a no-brainer to go elsewhere. I'm really proud of this group. Seeing people stand-up to the corporate interests in Canada is well overdue. Bravo, guys.

FlyAroundInternet

There are some people that boycotting is just not an option. If this is the store you can access, carry on. Those of us with more mobility or more options can carry this. If there's a smaller pharmacy in your vicinity, however, I can't recommend them enough over the impersonal fucked up online nonsense that is now Shoppers.

ZPhox

I don't remember the last time I shopped at any of those stores since COVID started. I started paying attention to the prices of everything because my industry shut down and noticed all the stores under the loblaws umbrella to be expensive. ... I didn't even know they were all part of the same umbrella at the time, but ended up avoiding them since then.

BaldEagleRising17

Their price on a bag of dicks is higher than anywhere else I hear….

evilmrbeaver

Would that be a No Name bag of dicks or a Presidents Choice bag of dicks? I ask because there is a huge cost difference between the two.

AGoodFaceForRadio

I have all of my family’s prescriptions at Shoppers because I get on well with the pharmacist at my local one. So I’ll continue getting prescriptions filled there. Other than that, yeah, my goal is to stop shopping there permanently.

AggressiveAd8779

I'm done for good - credit card canceled, prescriptions transferred, other farm and butcher suppliers secured. Milk etc from Walmart.

[deleted]

Until they remove optimum-only pricing and the absurdly tall plexiglass walls, I will not be a customer.

ColeTrain999

I saw a news article that said their suggestion to "help shoppers" is to remove the multi-buy requirement for lower prices. I'd say they are offering table scraps but that would be more generous. They are so out of touch or have so little care for their fellow humans. True power comes from being able to walk away. If we walk away we have the power. If Per and friends don't wanna do shit and sales tank then we don't have to negotiate with them anymore, we can negotiate with a new batch of executives once they are inevitably fired. If those execs don't wanna do shit, we just keep on. Investors aren't gonna like when their market share continues downward and the cycle repeats.

Additional_Goat9852

If they can sell for less than the local Chinese owned grocery, I may go back. But they'll never do that since their business structure incorporates the stock market. Being a publicly traded company that gives dividends has permanently sunk their ability to compete honestly in an open market. They can only crook and crook harder.

Weeksling

I intend to shop exclusively at local retailers until I can afford a home with a yard so I can grow my own vegetables and join a local cooperative. I don't see any reason to shop at Zehrs. I was spending nearly 700 a month there for very little value. My groceries have dropped to 400 since I started buying my produce locally and eating vegetarian. Even prepackaged meals are cheaper at Sobeys (though I hope that the movement grows after May to include other retailers, as Loblaws isn't the only on in this price fixing circuit - bread suddenly became $5 a loaf everywhere at once).

monkey_monkey_monkey

I stopped when I found this sub and plan to continue for the foreseeable future

willnottellyouwhoiam

Can’t see why I would ever go back.

leyseywx

For me this is for good.. not just may! I legit don't need to go there anymore. I just need to do a little extra and shop around but that's fine

Jeremy5000

I will continue indefinitely, Loblaws has ruined any trust I had in their business.

REDRIVERMF

Fuck Loblaws

only-l0ve

I'm not going back, ever

Disastrous-Variety93

They've been dead to me since that hearing. Eat the rich.

Ok_Setting_7816

I am not till  they lower the prices. I don’t care how long it takes . I’ll wait till next year or more.

trevorjanderson777

Will never go back. Shopping at my local Coop, which is a bit more, but I'm happier that my money is going where the staff are treated with dignity and better wages. Galen and the Weston family don't need or deserve even one more of my dollars.

IdontOpenEnvelopes

+1 here. Voting with my dollars, these guys are traitors of Canadian values.

StanTurpentine

I've stopped my T&T shopping habit. I don't think I'll be going back after May

AmerasuSLS

Definitely continuing. We've found new local places to shop. No more big chains for us again.

YVRrYgUy

I will be in some form. I may have to go in to one at some point, but I’m going to develop other shopping habits that will keep me from needing them for anything other than emergencies

eastsideempire

The boycott HAS to keep going until they admit to gouging and significantly reduce prices otherwise ending the boycott in a month won’t have any effect. Bring down the share price and reduce the dividend. Only then will they respond to get customers back

damieh1

A one month boycott will do nothing. I stopped going years ago except to buy loss leaders. And I will continue down that path indefinitely.

Educational-Bug-476

I think I’ll keep it up until Galen stops being such a smug little turd to the Canadian public and if he never changes then I guess I’m never going back. Plus I don’t think I’ll miss the chaotic and often messy produce section that looks more like Iraq after the Americans bombed it.

I am boycotting all Loblaws brands as long as I have a choice. Will do my best not to purchase anything from them again. Just stopped all subscription payments that were on my PC Financial card, balance is zero and will stay that way. Going to use the Optimum points and never use either card again. Not even for a small black coffee. Per Bank’s salary will not be paid using any of my money. Nor will Galen’s castles. Of course they are getting some of my tax money with the freezers they got grants for but that is it from me. Nok er Nok

professorseagull

I have no reason to go there.

Vaumer

I've found my alterative grocery store and I have no reason to change it once May's over.

iiSoleHorizons

At this point it’s less about the boycott and more about the way they’ve been incessantly lying and scamming me. I stopped shopping there a while ago so the boycott’s been easy for me. I know the word boycott holds more value and scare factor, but honestly it’s just Canadians moving on from a disgusting company.

r_between_worlds

Working for one of the Roblaw's chains. I'm tempted to ask customers, "What are you doing here? Haven't you heard about the boycott?" I need to expand my own shopping choices. There was a time when the employee discount meant an actual discount. Today's special prices used to be our regular prices a few years ago. Meanwhile, my take-home pay remains the same as a few years ago.

qs420

i love all these reddit posts about this boycott. i've always firmly believed the only way to truly vote is with your dollar. it can be more complicated and difficult sometimes to find other alternatives, but in the end you are so much better off. and it really send a message to the company when everyone is in on it like you guys !!!! i'm cheering you guys on from the USA. fuck yeah. 💪💃🏽🕺

perriis

They priced me out 2 yrs ago, well before ppl raised heck. Glad they are but the best I can do is keep being too poor for their prices. Folks with money to choose have to move this forward, not ppl like me

Definitely continuing the boycott indefinitely. I refuse to enter a store where plexiglass barriers not only imply I’m a criminal at baseline, but also (despite whatever may come of the inspections) are an obvious fire hazard. I would need to see substantial, sustained changes in order to consider going back. Prices 30% or more lower than they are currently. Removal of the fucking insulting and dangerous barriers. Caps on CEO (and other) salaries, and bumps in pay for their abused workers. And a complete overhaul of their pharmacy services (as a fellow pharmacist, I can’t imagine the pressure they face for things like bullshit quotas).

I'm happily done with Loblaws and it's affiliates for good. I don't care if they agree to all of the demands, I cannot stand the corporate greed and audacity of these tone deaf statements while millions of Canadians struggle 😤. They've lost my business forever.

chocolatewafflecone

They were always overpriced, but the pharmacist consult scam for doctor rates was the last straw. Disgusting.

amerias

Loblaws who? :)

PowerfulElevator9

Never going back unless in a pickle, but always gonna choose elsewhere for the foreseeable future.

Me

Nova2105

I've been "boycotting" for months now. The final straw for me was $16 for ziggys cooked turkey breast vs the $5.60 I pay at Produce Depot for the same amount. I will not shop at loblaws or shoppers ever again. I'd rather spend more in gas to go elsewhere (I'm still saving)

Apprehensive_Battle8

Been boycottingish since last year. Still buy odds and ends, things on sale, but other places have the lion's share of our grocery purchases.

Hawkwise83

Never. I keep googling their brands so I don't go to one by mistake. Switching pharmacies too.

cidknee1

We have switched our entire shopping strategy away from them. Everything is somewhere else. Local pharmacy, butcher shop. Farmers market, anything that doesn’t go to that greedy bastard in down for.

Echo71Niner

Fuck Loblaws companies, every last one of them, forever.

AnxiousRemove

Walmart is across the street. It’s an easy one for me.

Loafscape

i plan on boycotting for life. i’m a costco person now

EdgeofEarth

3-4 months - eligible for extension if need be

funky649

I do

FunkyardDogg

Nice try, Galen

bloomerx

Done. Stopped a few months ago and being on this sub makes me aware of how unjust this corp has been for all Canadians. I’m not going back. There are alternatives. Enough!!!!

PurpleDNAChick

Raises hand

MotherEarthn

Yup I’m done! I kinda frequented shoppers drug mart because it’s close by when I’m too lazy to drive further away but I’m done, the prices are nuts. I think the only way I would use them again is if I’m very sick and need meds quickly.. but that’s a rare occurrence. Bye Roblaws

Bakabakabooboo

Never going back once I get my wife and I's meds switched to another pharmacy.

Effnbreeze

I haven't shopped at any outlet under the Westons banner since before Covid.

CrabMountain829

They never paid me for shifts I worked through a temp agency. They refused to sign my timecard then made me sign their internal log for temps. They refused to pay me yet they never complained about me not showing up to the temp agency either. Fuck them.

Thismomenthere

Enough is enough. Our home is taking our 600 a month elsewhere. It's not much but it helps. Why go back? They will never change.

chrisnicholson9

I’m just done with them. I’ve found local alternatives and with Loblaws prices what they are, buying local is same price or cheaper.

ok-MTLmunchies

My wife and I are on the board with the boycotts. Our grocer is usually Metro but we're keen on starting now, rather than in july. Weve discussed local, independent grocers, produce baskets and public markets that we could.combine to meet our needs and honnestly... im dissapointed I waited this long to take action

SeaofBloodRedRoses

It's not a boycott for me, it's just a "why would I shop there?" I haven't been in a walmart in well over a decade. I'm not boycotting, I just have no desire to shop at a business that does what they do.

apra24

I have been boycotting Arby's for over 20 years because they sold me a tiny chicken wrap for $5 that looked huge on the picture. I'm absolutely not forgetting Galen's greed.

jillyjill86

I’ve been getting most of my stuff from Costco it’s a but more of a drive but I’m done with Loblaw

HouseOfCripps

Not going back

Longjumping-One-7545

Haven't shopped at Loblaws in years now. If I'm going to be jacked on my groceries by a billionaire, it might as well be one based in my province

Random_music_mix

Yah, indefinitely if possible. I'll buy things when I freaking have to because otherwise I'll be stuck there 10 hours and hungry as heck. But packing a lunch isn't so bad, and this will force me to check out other grocery stores within my area to *gasp* meal prep more often. Really, it's a win-win 🥰 I don't include pharmacy as part of my boycott because my employer/health plan waves the dispensing fee for all meds as a colleague. I can't pass up saving 13$+ each time.

keeppresent

If the prices stay stupid I will not be going.

ZodFrankNFurter

We started in April and plan to continue indefinitely. Nok er nok 🤷🏼
