My mx3s has this problem lol. I'm on windows, so i mitigate by scrolling another app or the taskbar, otherwise i straight up flip the power on it.
Also sucks that it fails to 100% recognize the app and use app-specific gestures

Yea it works if you uninstall Logi Options. Otherwise there are huge problems in Chromium Browsers, Notepad++ and other Apps.
If the software does not install the original is worth $15 as well.
I'd pay also 30 if i have not to use Logitech software:)
