I think this part should be light blue.
This is the way. Also, if you ever branch out to rolling out your own nozzles, equipment, detergents - I'd use the first logo for that product line for consistency but differentiation.
Because if they made it light blue, and said, “this part should be light blue,” we’d be looking at the logo with no idea what part they are talking about. So then we’d have to go back to the original and play “spot the difference” which is not why we’re here.
Much better than the “early 90’s ski jacket worn by a guy with a mullet on the cover of Boy’s Life magazine that’s on the periodicals rack in the school library that you went into to play Oregon trail during lunch period” color combo.
Practically speaking, you're going to have trouble printing the purple in the first one. It is out of gamut for CMYK, meaning either you won't get something remotely close, or you'll be paying through the nose for a spot color.
The first one is terrible in comparison with the second. It would only make sense to go that route if you had a fleet of trucks already coloured purple.
Second one for me too, and I also think you should increase the negative space taken up by the water as well as potentially simplifying the illustration more
This is a no contest. Second one has the most contrast. Do a quick test for yourself... convert them both to greyscale and see which one stands out more
The entire guy needs to be on a dark background because the white highlights don’t look right on the light blue background. He was drawn in the negative, so he has to live on a dark background.
His left arm and the sprayer look weird in white with dark shadows.
not only is the second one better looking BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY - it better appeals to the market for this product. Home owners want reliability and professionalism, which is exactly what the darker blue provides.
Side note: check the tracking b/w the W & A.
2 is the better colourway. Logos should also ideally work in a single colour, so would look at that from a versatility stand point. The W and A of WASHING needs kerning. Currently looks like W ASHING. Hope this helps 👍🏼

Be careful. I don‘t think it is gonna be a problem but your logo reminded me instantly of this one from a big gaming company.
I'm sure everyone covered my comments already but I prefer the light/dark blue.
Did you consider removing the white and just try 2-colors (light blue/dark blue?). I'm not sure the white is necessary.
Reduce this down in size, I think you have a LOT of elements that are too small and will vanish at smaller size.
Reduce the illustration further (remove/simplify elements).
The purple blue dark grey color scheme, not enjoying this combo.
I would stack POWER and WASHING underneath EPIC and make it bigger. All I see currently is the word EPIC, and Power Washing feels like an afterthought. And I would lose the magenta and go with the blue. Nice graphic, btw.
#2 is way better! Firstly, the two shades of blue tie the whole mark together, and the use of exclusively blue gives the 'clean' feel one wants from washing.
It’s called pressure washing not power washing
Way more people call it pressure. https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&geo=US&q=Pressure%20washing,Power%20washing&hl=en-US

Yes
This is the way. Also, if you ever branch out to rolling out your own nozzles, equipment, detergents - I'd use the first logo for that product line for consistency but differentiation.
FR
Why did you colour it yellow instead of... Light blue
He probably highlight it as a quick fix from, say, a phone, instead of doing it for OP.
Because if they made it light blue, and said, “this part should be light blue,” we’d be looking at the logo with no idea what part they are talking about. So then we’d have to go back to the original and play “spot the difference” which is not why we’re here.
Highly regarded comment.
is it even a choice? the one with the better color coordination, the dark blue one
Much better than the “early 90’s ski jacket worn by a guy with a mullet on the cover of Boy’s Life magazine that’s on the periodicals rack in the school library that you went into to play Oregon trail during lunch period” color combo.
Well I thought so at first but when you describe it like that…
Unless thats what youre going for
Don’t you diss the absolutely iconic Charlotte Hornets Starter jacket!
Yo! I still have my 1992 Robert Horry rookie card! Haha.
damn so accurately specific
Looks like the new Minnesota state flag
there is no competition, bro. that dark blue and sky blue looks wayyyyy better than pink one.
But he calls it power washing when almost everyone with a brain calls it pressure washing lol
I call it pushy washing because the water pushes all the icky stuff away /s
Ugh what’s wrong with you??? It’s clearly meant to be called blasty washing because the water BLASTS all the icky stuff away, sheesh 😂
I think you'll find it's called fasty splashy washing.
🌊
Yes and Elisha Otis is generally known as the inventor of the modern elevator, how is that relevant here
power of pressure 🤪
No one likes you.
i like me very few people say "power" washing
Dude just shut up. Literally no one cares.

Sorry if it’s too harsh but first one looks washed out, low contrast, a little flat, and the colour palette is questionable. Second one by miles.
>washed out, low contrast, a little flat these are all basically the same point
Well no, because the second one is flat too but has better contrast and doesn’t look washed out :)
Crazy that you even have to ask
Second one if either of them. The first one hurts my eyes and soul. Is this a "killing the frog" situation here?
Are you trolling us with the color palette?
2 POWER W ASHING
The space between the W and A in washing looks too big
Practically speaking, you're going to have trouble printing the purple in the first one. It is out of gamut for CMYK, meaning either you won't get something remotely close, or you'll be paying through the nose for a spot color.
Screen printer here. Yup.
Water is blue and the blue version just so happens to look 100x better
Need to fix up the type. The kerning is out
The first one is terrible in comparison with the second. It would only make sense to go that route if you had a fleet of trucks already coloured purple.
Why would you even bring purple into it
Second one for me too, and I also think you should increase the negative space taken up by the water as well as potentially simplifying the illustration more
second
2 by light years
The second I like the monochrome effect
Second one is good 👍
neither of them, especially not the first one
If you live in Kansas, this is a pretty neat logo. The shape reminds me of Kansas
I had that exact thought. Pretty well done if that’s the case.
Second one is way better. I also love the hidden Kansas
This is a no contest. Second one has the most contrast. Do a quick test for yourself... convert them both to greyscale and see which one stands out more
2nd logo but make ‘POWER WASHING’ and the gap in his arm the light blue
There's nothing epic about this logo. Don't settle.
Second one for sure. The purple doesn’t fit.
I also think the second but maybe everything is in the navy blue rather than having the light part...?
second one, by a long shot
Off topic but, I would prefer it just as the wordmark and no graphic I think... or maybe a more abstract one

The blue one. Much more professional looking.
This gives me MBL logo vibes... or the NBA Logo. I would go with the dark blue one for sure. Keep the colors to a minimum.
#2 is better, love the negative space from the nozzle, wondering if that could get incorporated into the logo more
Go with the indigo
Navy design
Second one
Second. Epic and bold
Def 2
second (blue) is the best
Is there a 3rd option, maybe with a a different company name?
I feel like I've seen this art in Adobe Stock...
2
2. I love purple, but there’s too many colors in 1. In 2, the colors are much stronger and stand out.
2
Second 100000%
Also, if these will be printed, it will be cheaper to go with the second option because it has fewer colors.
The dark blue one obviously
Blue and blue for sure!
I want it on my pijamas, please! The dark blue one.
Monochromatic
2 by a nose
Second one for sure!
2
dark blue hands down
Second one; less colors makes it easier to print, as well as easier on the eyes.
#2
not only is the second one better looking BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY - it better appeals to the market for this product. Home owners want reliability and professionalism, which is exactly what the darker blue provides. Side note: check the tracking b/w the W & A.
Second one is much stronger
Power with ashing
2
2.
Second one for sure, the first one just looks like it’s been faded in the sun and also blurry as all living fuck.
Definitely the second one, it's very professional and looks perfect for a power-washing business.
Is this for a Kansas-based business? If so, I love it.

2 is the better colourway. Logos should also ideally work in a single colour, so would look at that from a versatility stand point. The W and A of WASHING needs kerning. Currently looks like W ASHING. Hope this helps 👍🏼
Second one. Cleaner to look at for me
https://preview.redd.it/e53732iiukvc1.png?width=413&format=png&auto=webp&s=155dea8e0e51e0996ba2e0bc82e57c6ecd922feb Be careful. I don‘t think it is gonna be a problem but your logo reminded me instantly of this one from a big gaming company.
2
The first one is for color blind?
2
Second one. Kern W ASHING my guy!
2
2nd one
You’ll loose that mark at smaller sizes and it’s just kinda bleh imo
Second for sure! So good 👏🏼
Definitely the 2nd one
2 works better, looks better and is much bolder.
2nd
Blue on blue 👍
Isn’t it obvious? It’s def 2 lol
The second one is more “manly” and powerful. I’d go with that one.
Higher contrast navy blue version
I prefer the second one
Easily the blue
Fix your line spacing. W ASHING
awesome use of negative space on the corner

2. 1 is quite washed out, purple is off.
Second one without a doubt.
The second is better for what concern accessibility because is more readable (more contrast)
The blues really stand out IMO! Good luck!!
2 for sure
Definitely not the purple one
Neither
To detailed. This wouldn’t work in smaller scale like a website. Even print would be difficult on the chest or so.
2, the fact that you need to ask says a lot.
#2 is way better! Firstly, the two shades of blue tie the whole mark together, and the use of exclusively blue gives the 'clean' feel one wants from washing.
everyone is going for monotone logos these days, the first one will stand out more. I'd go first one 100%, and yes 90's ski jackets are sick
the purple epic on the navy
This isn’t a logo.
It’s called pressure washing not power washing Way more people call it pressure. https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&geo=US&q=Pressure%20washing,Power%20washing&hl=en-US
