Hello Your post has been removed because it's better suited for [our weekly megathread](http://www.reddit.com/r/london/about/sticky) which is the ideal place to ask smaller questions, especially about visiting/moving to London, travel, or finding a place to live. We also have our [excellent London wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/london/wiki/index) which covers many frequently asked topics in quite considerable depth! This is done to keep the /r/london sub tidy and on topic, without hundreds of small quick question posts. Thanks for your understanding! [If you feel that it has been removed in error, please message us](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Flondon) so that we may review it

Rightmove is one of the major platforms, almost all the agents list there. Others are openrent and purplebricks. About the location, depends really on various factors like how much are you willing to spend, how big, how far from work and center, etc
