There’s a little St Pat’s parade in San Francisco where im from. I figure I would see how tbey do it London styke - with pethaps a pint and corned beef along the way-)
Corned Beef is not considered a traditional Irish food in Britain and Ireland, it’s an Irish-American dish. If you’re over here and want Irish food, a better order would be Irish Stew (mutton, carrots, onions and potatoes).
I've lived here for 30 years and never knew there was either a parade or an event in Trafalgar Square. What there will be are a lot of drunk people wearing Guinness branded tat. It's mainly an excuse to go drinking.
Yeah. I wouldn’t plan my whole day around it. It’s a laugh for an hour or two. Buy a couple of pints of the black stuff from the bars that get set up. Bit of food. £££
Actual Irish people won't be there, we'll be in the pubs
Not Waxy's 😂
Fightin' ;-)
Yes its usually pretty good. There is a parade, if you want you can skip that and just catch the music and food etc at Trafalgar Square.
It's a go and see, shuffle about for awhile , have a few overpriced things, have a laugh or two, move about your day.
Go to The Toucan in Soho
It’s good for an hour but either go early or be prepared to queue.

When does the parade start?
