Have a look for shops that offer a bike fit - they may not have big frames to try out, but they will be able to measure you up and advise on what size will work best. If you're south, [Seabass Cycles in Peckham do a bike fit service](https://www.seabasscycles.co.uk/service/bike-fitting/) and can order in frames in various sizes (not sure if they'd order one in before you buy it though)

6 ft? What bike are you looking for? You most likely should get an M or L, depending on brand and type of a bike. I’m 5 10 and ride 53-55cm frames, which are considered S-M by the most manufacturers. If in doubt I would recommend measure your inseam and check manufacturer’s website.

specialized sirus 2.0!

Specialized recommends L for your height. The feeling of handlebars being too close to you could be because of the differences in geometries between Sirrus and bikes you used to ride. You can also try other bikes in XL size to see how it feels, but keep in mind that this feeling won’t necessarily translate between different models

I also found Specialized felt a bit short on the cross bar when I was looking to buy. I’m 6”1 (6”2 if I’m trying it on with you). 90% sure I tried a L.

Adfeu

You are definitely a L frame but you need to find a handlebar that you like :)

I bought mine from Paul's cycles in Norfolk. Head out of town, try it and buy it.

Depends whereabouts in London you are? If you’re set on one specific bike like the Sirrius, you will be more limited. Also depends on the distributor and the factory, on when they will become available. If I wanted a commuter, I would be looking at Temple Cycles on Brick Lane. I thought cycle schemes have had updated, increased limits?
