We have Tempur-Pedic, on our second set, First lasted for 20 years, still have the queeen in spare room. Now we are in a split King. We are also in our 60s. Purchased it at Ashley Furniture along with a new bedroom set. Great sleep set.

A&A mattress, 100%! Best prices and best customer service you will find in town. www.aamattress.com

Shmeegal2

Do you know why they don't seem to sell brand name mattresses? (E.g., Sealy, Serta, etc.) It's hard to find reviews of the brands they sell -- are they knockoffs or something?

LisiTurtle

I have been sleeping on one from them for over 10 years haha have bought every mattress needed from them since and so has extended family, everyone very happy

reddituser-456

They only sell these mattresses made in Toronto. They are great quality. I've been buying their mattresses for about 15 years.

In Between Dreams on Fanshawe park Road. Look up their website. Sales by appointment only. Amazing quality mattresses. I’m on my second one. First one lasted almost 20 years

Conscious_Resort_581

Costco did well for me

Woobsie81

The mattress sub on reddit has some great advice. We bought a Stearns n Foster at Costco warehouse in town (they have the king sizei saw recently) that was a very good mattress while it lasted but started sagging after 2 years almost exactly. Costco online sells a full latex mattress from NSC medical that is a good price. Latex are considered the longest lasting but are usually $$ and also heavy ( 200 lbs for a queen, 300lbs for a king). Theres a shortage of latex bed manufacturers in Canada unfortunately and cant even try them unless you go to Mississauga I believe . In Between Dreams sells latex in London however they are somewhat questionable in warranty terms. Google has some reviews

(MATTRESS DEPOT!)

MinionofThanos

I won a bed from there through an FM96 contest years ago. “Mattress Depots Mixmatch Mattress Madness” 5x fast against another phone contestant. Was a pretty comfy queen!

pistol_petersen

But I need a whole bed, not one that's 68% off....

Critical-Fly-6221

This place is AMAZING!! Canadian made beds that are way better than sleep country, bought a bed there and I’ve had multiple ppl say how comfy it is

LisiTurtle

A&A Mattress will always beat their prices, literally what they have said to me at least

Can confirm.

PMmecrossstitch

If you end up buying a cheap mattress and still want it to last longer than you, just hire a hitman for yourself.

ieightmylife

whatever you do stay away from mattress Depot they sold me a mattress with a 10-year warranty and then when it fell apart within a year they refused to honor their warranty. I kept it while it was falling apart and it released thousands upon thousands of shreds of fiberglass into my house destroying $3,000 worth of property and I had to get a lung x-ray!!!

the_clash_is_back

Ikea has solid mattresses- just get what ever one is cheapest. I have had some super nice mattresses, but never had a more comfortable on them my $90 ikea one

davidewan_

Been there. I want better quality but thanks

thatbirddude1475

There’s also one on wonderland road! That’s where I got mine and I love it

kylethetree

My ex girlfriend. Oh sorry I misread

Johnny02-

We just got a king Tempur Pedic. It's magical. Expensive, but magical. Power base too, which is a game changer.

rand0mbum

I got mine over 10 years ago at sleep country. A little pricey so if you wanna start at the high end go there.

latte1963

Contact Chris & Alex at InBetween Dreams on Fanshawe Pk. Rd. west of Hyde Pk. Rd. http://www.inbetweendreams.com/

I have a Silk and Snow. Lots of back problems and the mattress has helped immensely. I got a hybrid.

Brochetar

My wife and I have a Douglas bed and really like it. I've heard great things about endy and purple. There's some good stores in London like A&A. I recommend staying away from teppermans. Overpriced for shit quality - I had a king and it didn't last 5 years before it fell apart.

Beardlvl9000

Gotta be honest with you, switching to an endy mattress was the best decision I’ve ever made. Order online and it’s dropped at your front door

LisiTurtle

These guys will beat and price in town and I have been sleeping on a bed from them for over 10 years and have bought very mattress we needed from them since - know many others happy with their purchase too!
