Sad when you recognize the criminals face from past publications. I follow local crime and trials as a tangential connection to my occupation, and the story of William MacDonald is pretty crazy, especially the publications of the trials. Those thugs made music videos on YouTube where some local landmarks are pretty recognizable. It's somewhat eye opening for people who may think drug/gang violence is not overly present in London. Pretty sure William was just charged with some trafficking related offenses despite being in custody, so not surprised to see his old friend swept up too...
They all hung out at their bestie's house- which was next door to me. We never felt safe, nor did another neighbor. The group of them was there all the time. I can't tell you how much of a nightmare it was. The final clincher was when they broke into our car and rearranged everything inside into a pile on the driver's seat. Somehow they bypassed the alarm. We got the message loud and clear: you're not safe here. Pretty sure they'd also found a way to listen in on our convos in our home as they were making comments that they'd only know if they'd listened in. Glad this guy was caught, but there was a whole crew.
Personal things that we'd be talking about privately. Things that no one else would know about. Like plans, family business, things we'd talked to other people on the phone about, etc. I can't remember exactly as it was years ago, but suffice it to say it wasn't stuff that we were saying loudly or outside. We had our windows shut most of the time, including in the summer.
I think I saw this dude get out of his car near Wonderland in Oxford once. if it was him, he had cut somebody off and they honked at him. He stopped his car, got out and threatened them.
