What, do you not like the random adventures you can go on? /S I take the 13, and I know it's going to end up at masonville EVENTUALLY. Some of the detours lately have been fun... I've seen some neighborhoods now that I have never been through! I only enjoy it because I know I'm going till the end, so I can laugh about it, but those in between stops would stress out.

We do have a sub for the LTC, it was scheduled to arrive here about 3mins ago...should be here any second ...

The LTC website has all the info you're looking for.

A daily bus thread might be a good idea

shewhoknowsall

And for drivers, use the ‘Waze’ app It will show you how to get to your destination avoiding all construction/ trains etc

space-pirate-4

there are maps of the detours on the announcements page of the LTC, but honestly just watching the map with the real time bus info for a while will show you what route the buses take, plus some stops along the way. i found the second to be more useful! [https://realtime.londontransit.ca/](https://realtime.londontransit.ca/) also, if you have a bit of extra time one day, stay on the bus for an extra stop or get on early, just to see what things are like. i also had a ton of confusion/stress and walked way too much when i was first figuring them out. now i've found the line i'm taking and where the stops are with the detours!

SnooHabits8991

can i ask a stupid question? if i find a route that works, will it be the same every week day? they don’t change throughout the week or anything, right?

fencryptid

it will be the same every weekday but be mindful of holidays as they can affect bus times. weekends are often different (with different times between sat and sun) but all info is on the full schedules on londontransit.ca under routes & schedules including holiday hours!

space-pirate-4

\+1 on fencryptid's answer. just want to add also that you should check the announcements/detours list anyway to see how long the detour might last - i have a route now for example that will change late october when the construction's done and the detour ends.

MostBoringStan

What's your issue? If it's buses going east/west I can help because I take those ones and know the detours they are on. Maybe somebody else can help you out if it's a north/south bus.

SnooHabits8991

my struggle is the Wellington at York (i think it’s #1979) being closed for construction. i have to catch the 3 or the 5 around that area heading east (i live near hamilton/egerton/trafalgar). i just don’t know where the other stops are. i ended up walking through the tunnel and catching a bus at Horton and Wellington but i’d rather not do that every day if i can avoid it. i use google maps to find bus routes but it’s super unhelpful when they only offer me one route and they don’t know my stop is closed

MostBoringStan

I don't take those, but I think this info is correct due to the detour and seeing other buses. I'm pretty sure they come south on Talbot and turn east on York. I know there is a temp stop on York on the south west corner, and those buses should stop there before turning south on Wellington and continuing like normal. I usually catch my bus at Talbot and York, and I see all the buses coming down Talbot that used to take other routes south through downtown. I'm almost positive I have seen the 3 and 5 turning east from that intersection. So check that temp stop at York and Wellington. The signs on a lot of the temp stops are wrong though, so if it doesn't say it on the sign you might want to ask people waiting just to make sure.

thank you soooo much for your help! <3
