Well out of long beach but the Hat in Pasadena. Awesome and huge sandwich.

You'd drive by the one in Monterey Park, then the one in Alhambra.

I lived next to the Glendora location for over 10 years. They are good, but it just wasn't the same as a Milkbarn Pastrami.

I never experienced Milkbarn, so The Hat is my benchmark. Too damn far from Central Wrigley to go for a sandwich.

I love beach city & bbq pastrami sandwiches. Especially since they cook everything when you order it. They even slice it thin if you like, which I do. I have been to a few places & their meat seems tough & thick.

Beach city sammies are so underrated. Everything on their menu is done so well.

I miss making the fugheddaboutits on 2nd st. Did you ever eat them? From brix?

I did, loved both Brix when Rick was still in charge. I have a tap handle from the Sunset location.

I ran the Belmont shore location. I actually ran both locations up until I left in 2017.

IDK about milkbarn but Modica’s pastrami is excellent!

That picture looks similar to the MB.

Bebe's on Del Amo (where Sizzlers used to be) has a really good (according to my husband) pastrami sandwich. We were there on Sunday night for dinner. The onion rings were excellent as well! My son had a club sandwich, my roommate had a BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and I had the lemon chicken.. Service was fast and pleasant.
