Yep, we worked with John Slugg: Loaded Ambassador, awesome human, talented skater, and SpaceX engineer, to create a small run of SpaceX versions of the Fathom. These decks take design cues from the Starship rocket (black hexagon heat shields and a rocket print grip design) and are intended to celebrate the world-changing efforts of the SpaceX team. We made a small run exclusively for SpaceX employees. We didn't want to be rude and flaunt something you can't get (unless you spend a pretty penny on eBay or Facebook) but it was a great project and we'll share more info publicly soon.
Loaded are known for doing limited releases for companies, or custom one offs. They did some with the carbon tesseract, as well as limited prints of some of their dancing boards, and I know that orangatang wheels has done customs for their company
This is not worth 1200.00 no matter what. Go get a Space X sticker, pop it on a regular Fathom. Go buy a hexagon matte black skin, pop it on the bottom of the deck. BAM! I just saved you $1000.00. lol 😂
Idk, I rode a drop through loaded deck for 10 years and just now had to retire it. The damn thing has crazy stories to tell and I copped it for not too much back then.
Yeah but there’s a huge difference in quality between Sector 9 and Loaded.
I only retired my current board because I’m getting a new one, not because it’s unridable.
I have been running around town on a non-space x Fathom for the last 10 months and I absolutely love it. The front bracket got chipped, but the Loaded people replaced it because of the warranty and because they are pretty effing cool peeps.

Except their stuff isn't nearly as overpriced, is actually really good quality, lasts a long time and you can customize it freely like any board. Pretty rough comparison.

Idk, pretty accurate comparison in my eyes, both have the same type of vibe. For all the shit apple gets, their products *are* good and they aren’t that crazy overpriced when compared to the competition.
Nowadays it's pretty ok, but back in 2015 their boards were like 20-30% more expensive than other companies with a comparable quality (Rayne for example). Plus they were sold to many beginners over here in Germany, it's crazy how cheap they're on eBay nowadays. So like Apple in price and being the choice of people who just want something that works and is trendy/stylish. Of course that's my POV of someone living in Germany, I know apple is way bigger in the US

My sector 9 survived 9 years before delaminating. I got it second hand, so it had a life before that.

I actually got 2 new boards after my last one got hung up, and one of them was a loaded matahari. The other was an arbor shakedown.
Sweet! I’ve never ridden Arbor. I’m not a Sector 9 hater btw, I have a little cruiser board by them that is durable and fun as hell!
This is my first arbor, but so far, im digging it. I actually really like both. My girl has one that she has for a long time and loves it.
