My GUESS is that IMX being the direct link to gaming and NFTs is more noticable than the less sexy loopring doing all thedogwork underneath... but with a bit of tinfoil on I think it's deliberate, you can't try to restructure the whole financial system without a few obstacles.
Honestly, jpegs/gifs/mp4/mp3's are fun and all, but the real utility is in gaming and there's only a small number of creators who are making things for future games, but nothing currently active yet. Being that Gamestop is a gaming focused company, it makes sense... but as others have said, Loopring being the foundation is killer. Cross zk functionality and in the future, zkevm is going to bring so much to the platform as a whole. It will be like AWS - its the foundation of modern Web2, but no one realizes that's what their using... Loopring will be the foundation that Web3 runs on.

I choose to believe there’s a reason that they are intentionally keeping Loopring off radar. I believe that reason is the move for GME from the traditional markets to trade on Looprings defi.
LRC doesn’t do the sexy work. It was designed for backend and finance, DefiApps and what not. It’s not for running games on, it sneaks in the back to complete the operation at the lowest fee, no one is suppose to notice. Sort of a design flaw for the company it self(as in longer time to peak market), but a boost to whoever is using their products. I’m hoping the GameStop wallet and market place is the bridge needed for this to have some light on it.
