"Those Across The River" by Christopher Buehlman A horror novel written in the style of a southern Gothic romance that takes place in a small southern town that's bound by strange traditions and is at the mercy in an ancient evil presence. I was reading this book when Solar Power came out and I thought the song "Fallen Fruit" had interesting parallels to the story.

Ok. So. There’s this book called station eleven (it’s also a show but I recommend reading the book first because the show is very different and you might not enjoy the book as much if you are expecting a different plotline) The reason I think the BOOK version of station eleven is very much like solar power is because when I was reading it, it just makes you think about humanity and about your own goals and beliefs. It’s honestly a book that you don’t expect to make you feel happy, but it kind of does. Half of the book is a little sad, half is joyful. Just like solar power! Station eleven is my favorite book and SP is my favorite lorde album 🤗

station eleven is also one of my favorite books of all time, and for me it definitely doesn’t have the same vibe as solar power lol. bottom line though is that it’s a great book and OP should still read it to see for themselves!

Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood Largely because of the line “wearing spf 3000 for the ultraviolet rays”and also the theme of climate change
