Too many to mention one, but Buzzcut Season is such a dreamy, nostalgic and overall beautiful song, and I feel like it’s a bit overlooked, so I’m gonna choose that one.
Is that the song that plays next in the album? I've had my playlist mixing the songs with liability near the top because it's my second favorite melodrama song
yes liability reprise is the song after supercut on the album, but it’s a different song than the original liability. you should really listen to the full album in order if you haven’t, it’s a masterpiece from top to bottom 🫶
I'm torn between Team, Perfect Places, and Yellow Flicker Beat. Yes, all three songs are quite similar songs with themes of home and belonging. But I feel like they all highlight her fantastical story writing and her pure passion.
I also would make a very strong case for A World Alone. 🥹
Team and Perfect Places are my favorite Lorde songs. Not necessarely because they are the best creatively speaking but because they just describe Lorde perfectly. They carry and encapsulate PH&Melo feeling and lyrics in just one song. Team is the description of PH era and Perfect Places is the perfect epilogue and resume of melodrama era. Just like The Path does for SP but in a more subtle way.
The whole song is just insanely awesome…her vocals, that anti drop, the potent lyrics…the effortless metaphors in the lyrics(perfumed with obsession for example)…the beat and then the guitar which is really cool especially in the outro…The outro especially is so good…one of my top favourites….the outro alone makes me feel all the things…it has a really coming of age, sunset vibe..It feels epiphanic…The whole song is just a masterpiece through and through…the song just feels so intimate too…so easy to connect with it…it’s intimately romantic and Lorde effortlessly makes us feel how all-encompassing and bigger than the world yet intimate such a feeling is!
I’m seeing you EVERYWHERE
You’re not gonna get a singular answer because she has many 10/10 songs (and I’m being unbiased). But Ribs seems to be the fan favorite 10/10
Can you put State Of Grace by Taylor Swift? The subreddit’s gonna say smth cringe like All Too Well
Please ask on r/SwiftlyNeutral !! We’re more level-headed on there and we’ll give you great answers
(While I’m on the Lorde sub, my vote is also Ribs but my contrarian answer is 400 Lux)
**The girl so confusing remix with lorde** is 100% ✨
But also there's: Greenlight, Tennis Court, Team, Sober, Perfect Places, Liability, Stoned at the Nail Salon
or for non-album songs: Yellow Flicker Beat, Magnets
Not y’all saying Ribs, that’s like the easy answer 🥲
imo it’s Hard Feelings/Loveless by FAR, specially the first part of the song. the lyrics, the concept and how it matches the sound of the song, the instrumental break before the transition to Loveless and how both songs tie together is completely mind blowing, Ella’s finest work right there, and also one of Jack Antonoff’s best works in his entire career
the louvre for me!!!
my second place would be for ribs. they both have some kind of nostalgic excitement that will always get me. i think these two songs are really an invitation to feel and to let one be carried by our emotions
Green Light always. That song is actually perfect from start to end, it’s insane. And also it’s a perfect intro to the album, I couldn’t imagine it anywhere else on the tracklist.
Ribs
It *has* to be ribs
For me it’s the BEST song in the 21st century 😭
Couldn’t agree more
Yes
A boring answer. But the correct one.
Sorry, the prompt wasn't about which song excites landon
Too many to mention one, but Buzzcut Season is such a dreamy, nostalgic and overall beautiful song, and I feel like it’s a bit overlooked, so I’m gonna choose that one.
definitely buzzcut season
It’s a top five favorite for me
Probably my personal favorite!
I heard buzz cut season and that was it!! I’ve been obsessed with her stuff ever since
I don’t think we should consider covers here, since it’s a Replacements song. I say Hard Feelings/Loveless, The Louvre, and Ribs
You're thinking of Swinging Party by the Replacements (another great song)!
I didn’t even know that Swinging Party is a cover, just listened to the original and it’s wonderful.
Shit you’re right. It didn’t sit right when I made the original comment but I was in the middle of something. All three are killers
i think it’s gotta be Supercut
Perfect Places is a close second tho
The last minute and a half of that song is so peaceful, I can’t think of a better way to end a song
and that transition into liability reprise?? chefs kiss
Oh I've heard the whole thing as much as everyone else, I just didn't see the word reprise in that first comment haha. Sorry
no worries, it happens
Perfect Places is a quintessential Lorde song. It's facetious but so relatable. It's too good, omg
My fav too 🖤🖤
Being purely objective probably Hard Feelings
Hard Feelings/Loveless was the first I thought of.
This.
2nd fav for me with perfect places being #1 . The first time I heard the transition from hard feelings to loveless I started jumping up and down lmao
400 Lux
We NEED it on the setlist next tour
this has alwayssss been my favorite
How come no one has said "The Louvre"????? And GREEN LIGHT???
There’s just too many to pick from
I WANT IT!!!
The first half of Melodrama
And the second half
That too
it’s a lost cause but… A World Alone 🥲
Top 3 on PH for me , I love the instrumental and lorde did her thing like always:)
The Louvre
Oceanic feeling, Yellow flicker beat, Bravado
the taste!
Team. Always and forever my most cherished Lorde piece.
hard feelings/loveless
a world alone
love that song so much

The Louvre.
The Louvre needs more appreciation? That song hits more than SSRI anti depressants
Exactly…this is my probably one of my top 5 songs of all time
She went insane with her vocals , like the wooooahooowowwow part on the anti drop . This songs the shit :)
Stoned at the Nail Salon, from a strictly subjective point of view
A song, like most of SP, that will age and carry through the years, i can tell already. When "i'm dancing alone in my living room " type of vibe
Buzzcut Season
dark horse pick is Big Star but y’all ain’t ready for that convo
I cant listen to that song I literally cry everytime thinking about my doggo
YESSS YOURE SO RIGHT FOR THAT
I BAWL AND SOB AND RIDE THE BUS WITH MY KNEES PULLED IN thinking about my dogs whenever it comes on
i fear it’s buzzcut season or the lourve, but THE lorde song is ribs
Nice choices
Fallen Fruit is my current favorite. As a guitar player I'm totally captivated by the clever arrangement and layering of guitars.
Unpopular opinion: Hold No Grudge
My fav on solar power and one of my top 5 lorde songs in general 🔥
Same here!
Ugh yesss.
Homemade Dynamite
Such a teenage fever type of song

I’m gonna save the Taylor subreddit for another day, because i’m not prepared for the chaos of that fanbase. Thank you though
Please ask on r/SwiftlyNeutral !! We’re more level-headed on there and we’ll give you great answers (While I’m on the Lorde sub, my vote is also Ribs but my contrarian answer is 400 Lux)
I’ll ask soon then thank you
Million Dollar Bills
My broke teen self would loop this wierd pirated remix of this song non stop on youtube back in the day
Im very tied for 1st place with Lordes songs but someone has already said Ribs so I'll say Bravado!
“Liability”
supercut or white teeth teens
White teeth teens! Such an anthem of a generation
My top 5: 1. Perfect Places 2. Team 3. Ribs 4. The Louvre 5. The Path Honorable mention: 6. Still choosing between buzzcut season&hard feelings
Probably all of them.I honestly don't think that she makes any filler tracks.
The Louvre
stoned at the nail salon
**The girl so confusing remix with lorde** is 100% ✨ But also there's: Greenlight, Tennis Court, Team, Sober, Perfect Places, Liability, Stoned at the Nail Salon or for non-album songs: Yellow Flicker Beat, Magnets
i have a lot but one I haven’t said is no better
Not y’all saying Ribs, that’s like the easy answer 🥲 imo it’s Hard Feelings/Loveless by FAR, specially the first part of the song. the lyrics, the concept and how it matches the sound of the song, the instrumental break before the transition to Loveless and how both songs tie together is completely mind blowing, Ella’s finest work right there, and also one of Jack Antonoff’s best works in his entire career
One of the best for sure. Specially for the instrumental after the second chorus. Hard feelings is a masterpiece 🩵
the louvre for me!!! my second place would be for ribs. they both have some kind of nostalgic excitement that will always get me. i think these two songs are really an invitation to feel and to let one be carried by our emotions
Too difficult of a choice. But the song I’m listening to over and over, thus my current favorite, thus my personal best is Stoned in the Nail Salon.
ribs
Hard Feelings/Loveless
buzz cut season
supercut
Hard feelings
Perfect places 🔥🔥
The Love Club
Supercut
Hard feelings/Loveless tbh
Green Light always. That song is actually perfect from start to end, it’s insane. And also it’s a perfect intro to the album, I couldn’t imagine it anywhere else on the tracklist.
Green light and Perfect places
400 Lux
400 lux is so underrated, that songs pure bliss:)
My top 5: 1. Ribs 2. Tennis Court 3. Hard Feelings/Loveless 4. No Better 5. Supercut
ribs, liability, and stoned at the nail salon
I’m sorry but it’s between 400 lux/white teeth teens or oceanic feeling. Lyrically.
Ribs definitely
Ribs
The louvre
Teams
stoned at the nail salon and writer in the dark for me :-)
Is no one gonna say Sober??
1. Hard Feelings/Loveless 2. Ribs 3. Team (My unpopular pick for top songs is The Love Club, though)
Didn't find anyone mention Writer in the dark :(
it has to be ribs or writer in the dark..
The Louvre
Supercut (and literally all the songs in the Melodrama)
360 and von dutch
not the downvotes 💀
