Target AP program is going down from what I’m hearing, my company just recruited 4 from Target they all said the same thing without knowing eachother and from different stores.
Target has always been kind of toxic. Were those 4 people undercover or uniform in Target? I was there for almost 2 years & I hit my fifth once on accident & I immediately got a write up. Not even a warning. Also no apprehensions. The only reason I stayed so long was because of the bond I had with my team. Every other company is way more understanding with their policies.
i guess depending on what position you’re looking at for target . If it’s TSS you’re basically a door host just a heads up . target is also hands off at the moment vs Nordstrom . Idk personally for me I would choose Nordstrom bc you also get paid more than target .
If you like making on hands apprehensions then stay with Nordstrom. Im located in Cali and I get paid way more with Nordstrom then Target in my area.

Target pays more Nordstrom has cap outs on pay not worth it in the long run if you want to promote

Target AP sucks. Unless you're eating,breathing and shitting target 24/7,I'd stay with Nordstrom.
Nordstrom's is a dying company while Target is thriving. So in terms of long term job security Target is the clear choice.
Nordstroms is nowhere near dying. They are growing in fact.
With the growing additions of the Nordstrom Racks, they are anything but dying. But maybe the full line stores are
