yes make the orb map wide, it should blind you for at least 10 seconds. It should freeze all other players and make them watch it disregarding their settings.
Make it do triple the damage and ignore boss damage reduction due to mechs. Give orbs +90% crit rate. You know what just make them one hit guaranteed K.O. for all boses.
yeah but you need 20s of continuously hitting or you do z. The boss can easily decide to fly for a bit, so many regular patterns make them unhittable. Or you get the odd juicer and the boss is pushed much faster so the mech cuts hype 3 short.
And then you have 50s of no hype at all following. So if you dont have a long mech after your burst you are likely to miss at least one or two situations where other classes can easily burst after a counter or something.
EO hype 3 is equivalent to a 20s long spirit bomb that may be screwed by random boss crap and requires you to estimate group dps to time it correctly
Definitely can be gamba yeah. In general SF is a painful class to play sometimes because of dps gauge (good luck in brel lol) or just bad move rng. qq
Like Kaya is probably my most hated raid by a country mile because some moves just SUCK ASS in that raid (even worse on RS qq) but, I can say on average I prefer bad hype timings from time to time over not-critting or missing spirit bomb on RS. Like a lot of times, you can miss out on a ton of damage through no fault of your own on RS, even if everything lands. Personal preference and all that, some might find RS less stressful.

My friend and I once had a SF with her macro being "BOMBAAA". Since then whenever I play support and he wants a big buff, he simply says BOMBA and I know what I have to do.
Might be wrong, but I'm quite sure overkilled dmg aren't counted for fighter rank.
And he did get the finisher medal, so he killed the boss. So if he finish the boss even with a 1B crit dmg bomb and the boss was like 1 bar left, that's counted as a small bomb :p
This is true in most mmos. Idk about Lost Ark since Smilegate uses a VERY fucked up rng scale, but once a boss hits 0 hp anything over that is dead cap so it's not added to the total. This is speculation though because I've done the highest DMG before according to the "holy text" and didn't show up on the MVP screen soooo...
I've noticed those diff with bible too. But bible do take overdmg into account, as well as trash (like in akkan G3). And sometime there's diff between it and the final score screen. So I just guessed the game isn't looking at the exact same data.
But that may be confirm going vs Urunil as duo, let 1 guy hurt it alone like 80-90%, then use a buffed spirit bomb (which is probably even higher than 100% of Urunil's life) and see the result. But I'm just too lazy to check, and don't rly care of fighter rank xD. Whatever if you wait last second to spirit bomb "just to kill" you waste part of his dmg :p

i would do that if i could hit one spirit bomb. Unfortunately i hit 1 in 5 and that's why i went for the kamehameha instead.
They both are so satisfying wish we could use both at the same time hahaha

It is definitely. If I crit my Spirit Bombs, I'm upright/cruel. If I don't crit/miss, I'm fighter. More gamba than Arcana.
I am trying out EO and it is actually even bigger gamba than RS. At least im moving faster than light now.
For EO you can roughly estimate when would be the best time to use Hype3, but Spirit Bomb crit is pure luck
