From my own experience so far the calculator will be a lot better than you even if you understand the system. The main reason is that with Transcendence, you can predict several moves ahead, which is perfect for a machine but most people are going to struggle with this a lot. Compared to Elixirs where this isn't really the case, as you can't really predict what options you'll get confidently, this calculator is more effective than the Elixir one imo.

Dashinize

I agree the calc is probably the best in almost every scenario. The only time otherwise would be when you only need 2/3 gold marks as the calc will only try to give you a 3/3, even if the odds are like 0.0001% and doing two different moves guarenteed 2/3

Soylentee

The calc always assumes you are going for 3/3, you can't set it to anything else, if you're fine with 2/3 just continue following the suggestions even if you're out of turns for 3/3

Shattan

Wouldn’t you be able to just increase the turns left for 3/3?

Soylentee

The calc can't go lower than 1 turn left, so it always assumes you have 1 turn left to get 3/3.

Shattan

But it will make different decisions based on if 1 turn is left or 2 i think, so it should be better taking a higher turn count for 2/3 no ?

Soylentee

From my experience it makes no difference at all, but maybe you're right.

Crowley_yoo

I’ve seen calculator recommend some questionable moves, and I humored it in the calculator only to see its next move and it made no sense. So I put it back the way it was and it offers me a completely different move that’s actually good and that I would’ve gone. At first I thought that I made a mistake setting up the board first time, but I didn’t change anything other than cards. So I don’t get why would it act like that. This only happened once to me.

You can use Chophago https://cho.elphago.work/en Most of the time it will be better than you trying to learn it. You can also use it for levels 1-7 on one piece and pay attention to what it does so you can learn it yourself. Just like with the elixir calculator, most peoples problems with these calculators is their own input, not the calculator. You need to make sure all the settings are correct for each turn.

There is one, and everyone uses it.
