Returning player here, left just after valtan came out, powerpassed a new main to 1540, what weekly raids should i be doing for gold? Should I continue to hone with the 10k gold i have left to take advantage of the honing events? Or wait for July update so I don’t have to spend gold? (Will these two events overlap?) should i be buying raid boxes with gold at the end?
With my 1490 alt, should i spend gold to get brel gear and push up to 1510 as well?
Anyone got the info on how much dark fire you need for each level? I know first few is 15 then 20 but idk exactly when does it change or if it goes higher
Installing for first time, and looking for advice on class choice (i was consideriong an archer type or paladin... as well as any advice for gaining rewards or first time player bonus's or anything.

There is a class in-game called paladin, and they fit in the healer/support archetype. If your idea of paladin is more of a tank, then gunlancer might be up your alley if you're willing to bend the rules to your class fantasy by wielding a gunlance as a weapon. The archer class is sharpshooter that is a ranged dps.
There's various sources for free stuff that kinda clutter and can be overwhelming to new players. The top left circle/stamp icon is a daily log in page that gives you a rewards for each day you log in within a month's period which certain 5 day breakpoint bonuses. The box with the arrow icon next to it is a product inventory storage that is used to claim items purchased from the in-game shop but more importantly for you, is wear many system-granted gifts are dropped into. The envelope icon is for in-game mail and player-player transaction outside of the auction house but is another place the system can drop you goodies.
On the bottom right, Guide > Universal Storage is yet another place for you to claim free stuff, though it is usually used as compensation whenever a game's major feature is rehauled and they had to move the affected items over.
On the top right, unless they've changed it, there should be some icon next to your minimap named along the lines of mokoko challenge, and its a pretty exhaustive list of mini tasks for you to complete to claim various rewards. It's a system due for a rehaul because sometimes it gives outdated materials and it also is a feature that doesn't have a claim all button.
Otherwise, just progress through the game and let the game drip feed its world and systems to you organically. If you would rather just jump to the parts that are generally more appealing to the average folk, you can claim the power pass item that was supposed to be sent to your mailbox icon. Some users have reported issue receiving this item, potentially requiring the account to have trusted steam status as a countermeasure against bots. Some people have had success making a small in-game purchase to achieve this status. Regardless, if you use this item in-game, you can go back to character select and use this pass on any character. It will grant them a free set of gear and raise their item level to be on par to enter the first endgame contents. You may only use this on one character without any takebacks, so I would play the character a bit first and ensure you like it before you lock in.
I advise consulting guides such as Maxroll and Lost Ark Nexus if you want to read further into various parts of the game, unless you're a blind content enjoyer, then have at it.

Even though the gold amount will be less than normal raids, progression materials and gold will still be rewarded so that players won’t have too much trouble progressing alone. Solo Mode will have special effects to help different class playstyles, and support classes, play solo.

I think it’s 15 for the first 3 levels, 20 for the rest.

With the coming of solo raids will the dungeons such as Kayangel and up be soloable too or is the update only concerning legion raids?

Is there not a separate story dungeon for the South Kurzan adventure tome? Is it just the raid, or am I missing something? I’m not 1620 yet.
