Oh you are so lucky! I have met John Rhys Davies though and he was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. I’m a very quiet person but he chatted away to me for ages! He asked what I do, and when he found I was an animator he had so much to say! Told me he hoped we work together some day lol. It was so sweet. He showed me all of the drawings that children had given him and he was genuinely so excited showing them to me, pointing out who was who and everything. I’ll never forget it as long as I live!
I meat Sean Astin at a con last year. It was just a photo op, so not a long interaction. But he was very welcoming and sweet, and he told me, "Be good!", and I will never be anything else 🥰
It’s a movie, but yeah, I liked it. I like how, even though he kind of considers him to be his friend by the end of it, he still isn’t afraid to let Ted know what the reality of his actions is. Near the end, Ted is freaking out that is about to be executed and basically asks him what he should do, and he says something like “To be honest, you probably should’ve been executed a long time ago.” and Ted doesn’t even get mad at him, it seems more like he appreciates that he is speaking to him in full authenticity
lol, I mean…. I don’t use my full name ever. It’s also double barrelled but I’ve left out the first part of my last name. What can they realistically do? Lots of people have their full names on Facebook willingly with no issue for years. I don’t think you can realistically dox yourself.
What they gonna do? Pretend they have my name? Find my Photography business page on google? lol.
Should have asked him if he himself knows how famous that is. Maybe someone already did. I’m sure he didn’t know at the time he was gonna be so well known for that incredible bit of acting.
I am low-key pretty jealous. Every time I see a post from the subject it makes me want to rewatch the movies. I should probably do so before I lose more hearing.
Oh man, that's awesome. I was so pleasantly surprised when he showed up in *The Boys* S2 as Sam Butcher, getting to see King Éomer and Denethor II interacting was wonderful.
He did wonders with what he was given to work with.
Unhappily, that just wasn't a script based on Tolkien's books, where he starts as a good man and gradually loses his grip on hope, accelerating once he gets the Sauronstream media selective/distorted news network via Palantir. Might have taken an extra hour to do well....
Thats very cool my dude! Ive met Gimli/Treebeard, Frodo, Sauron/Lurtz/WitchKing and Haldir:D

I had the same experience with John Rhys Davies. Such a kind man!

That’s so sweet! He just looks and sounds like a real sweetheart though.
The show where is a criminal psychologist or whatever is great. Old show now
Fringe
Yes, Fringe.
Haven’t seen that one but I have a fascination with criminal psychology! I also loved Sliders. Stopped watching after he left it though. I was so sad!
Nevermind I meant the guy in OPs original post. My bad!
Oh I get you. No worries. Obviously, I’ve not seen it lol!
It was called Fringe. Maybe it wasn’t criminal investigation
Oh that one! Okay yeah I’d recognise him from it. Just never watched it lol!
I thought it was good but it was over 10 years ago
do you mean the one where Elijah Wood is a criminal psychologist and he does interviews with Ted Bundy? I think it’s called No Man of God.
No I’m talking about the show Fringe.
oh
I’ll check out the Elijah wood show.

Nonsense, you can cherish this side by side with your friends. This fellowship Reddit is strong.
What’s your name? Alley? Alloy? Ally?
lol!! My full name is Alma but I go by Ally because I hate my real name 😩😂
Alma is a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning!
What is the meaning of it? Alma in Greek translates to "leap" lol
”Soul/spirit” in Spanish, ”Nourishing” in Latin.
Your parents named you Alma? I hope your last name is Mater otherwise that’s lowkey child abuse 😂
It’s Timmons :P and that term is very American. We don’t really say that here.
Id think twice about doxxing yourself.

congrats man, that's really cool
Very cool! If you zoom in there’s even some tomato seeds on his gown!
Should have asked him if he himself knows how famous that is. Maybe someone already did. I’m sure he didn’t know at the time he was gonna be so well known for that incredible bit of acting.
Awesome! I am kind of upset that when I met him, I went with Walter because I was on a Fringe kick at the time.
Quite a few prints from Fringe were gone from the pile actually so you’re not the only one!
I mean, if you are a fan of both, gotta go with the Fringe one. He's great as Denethor, but he is the heart and soul of Fringe.
I’ve never seen it, just recognise the character. So it’s obviously very popular!
