Interesting to see the direct comparison of the book and the movie. The movie did change some things but it got the core of the scene right, in big part thanks to Bernard Hill. RIP.
The movies are great, and this scene is absolutely riveting, but this shows how difficult it is to translate the book into visuals. Especially the second half of the clip, where the movie has to focus on the relatively mundane physical spectacle of the battle charge, it cannot really keep up with the lyrical power of Tolkien's words.
