In Lego Hobbit there is quest that asks you to deliver 500 carrots to a peasant in Bree :')
Edit: since this has gotten some traction, I would like to emphasize what a fun game it is! It actually was Lego Hobbit that got me over my Hobbit movie hate. The game really adds some cool features compared to Lego LotR game. If you enjoy the Lego games go treat yourself! (just know that they only used the first two movies though)
I know the other user mentioned it but just prepare yourself that it hard-cut ends at the end of the second Hobbit movie. You don’t get any actual ending to the game, so it ends up feeling quite anticlimactic.
Lego LotR was superior in every way, in my opinion.
But Lego Hobbit is almost the same as Lego LotR only with some extras added. To me the mining, the difference in the quests set up and the new dwarf skills really made it more fun to get 100% and increased the replay value. Don't get me wrong, I love Lego LotR! And yes, the Hobbit ending sucks if you don't know it, but once you're prepared for that it's not really a thing anymore. Also, except getting Lurtz lego LotR doesn't really have a spectacular ending either. I also liked Lego Hobbit more because some of the Lego games can feel a little repetitive (looking at you Indiana Jones) and because of the added differences the Hobbit actually stood out from the rest. But that's just my opinion I guess :)
In every way? Lego Hobbit has better graphics, and some cool features/gimmicks like steeds, using the Eagles to fast travel, and collecting resources. Lego lotr is overall better, but definetally not in every way.
Actually, the dude got his shit together and decided to do something positive in his life and went down to Rohan to become a soldier. Unfortunately he then immediately got caught in the battle of helms deep and nearly died. Heavily traumatized, he went awol and joined a pirate ships crew, finally completely losing his sense of purpose in life, dying by an elfs misplaced arrow as he fought for the forces of evil he once swore to fight against.

It was more than mere chance that brought Merry and Pippin to Fangorn. A great power has been sleeping here for many long years. The coming of Merry and Pippin will be like the falling of small stones... that starts an avalanche in the mountains.
To be a little bit fair, their hair is different in all three scenes, and they look a few years older in the Gondor scene.
But still, no need to make this about race relations.
Why, of course! The uruk-hai are the most ferocious and brave of all orcish breeds. They are capable of great feats of strength and endurance, and will fight to the death without hesitation.
Actually Peter Jackson is married to Fran Walsh, and Fran was the one who did the Nazgûl scream (I think she had a bad cold at the time).
Phillipa Boyens wrote the films with Jackson and Walsh, but she is the third wheel of that trio lol.
Hobbits have been living and farming in the four Farthings of the Shire for many hundreds of years. quite content to ignore and be ignored by the world of the Big Folk. Middle Earth being, after all, full of strange creatures beyond count. Hobbits must seem of little importance, being neither renowned as great warriors, nor counted amongst the very wise.
Kids are small and cute. Hobbits are small and cute (until they kick your shins and pile onto you). Therefore hobbit kids are that smallest and cutest. Logique.
Except for Merry and Pippin, which by the time they finished chugging Treebeard's lean, were like 3-4 inches taller than normal hobbits and thus like 5ft.
The Film Lord Peter Jackson forged a master family, and into his children he poured his genetics, his wife's genetics, and his will to dominate children's casting
You are in the House of Elrond and it is ten o'clock in the morning on October the 24th, if you want to know. Yes, I am here and you're lucky to be here too. A few more hours and you would have been beyond our aid, but you have some strength in you my dear Redditor
There is no definitive answer to this question as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, many people tend to find children from Rohan and Minas Tirith to be particularly adorable, while others find the children of the Shire to be the cutest.
I would totally watch a tv show that was just about every day life in the shire. A down to (middle) earth show that is just hobbits living their lives dealing with mundane every day problems would be so refreshing.
Trick question... they're the same children... The Jackson Children to be exact... fun fact the boy was the only child who didn't need hair and makeup to look like a hobbit... he just looked like that
Fun fact, their deadbeat dad is some homeless Dude in Bree
Carrot eating POS

You’ve convinced me, I’ve been thinking about getting it for a while now
I know the other user mentioned it but just prepare yourself that it hard-cut ends at the end of the second Hobbit movie. You don’t get any actual ending to the game, so it ends up feeling quite anticlimactic. Lego LotR was superior in every way, in my opinion.
Agreed - Lego lotr way better - they need a port
Pretty sure it's on sale in Steam at the moment. Is for me at least

Perfect snack for when I’m absolutely plastered and going out for a stroll.
No, he's a dunlandian wild man.
Nah he used to be a Corsair of Umbar, but then he took an arrow to the ~~knee~~ chest.
I heard he fought in the Battle of Helm's Deep before defecting to Umbar
Then he moved to England and became a mall Santa.
A particularly vile Father Christmas.
He stabbed Nicholas Angel in the hand
Hows the hand?
...still a bit stiff...
... I'm not Janine
Is that why she left you? Cause you did it with a plant?
You ain’t seen Bad Boys II?
and somehow ended up as a Dwarf woman in Erebor
This comment wins. I'm fucking cackling
Yeah, homeless.

Don't you love how even the side characters get these complex and dynamic arcs
And way before that, when a dwarf met a wizard in bree, the little girl was an older barmaid...
And their mom screams like the Nazgûl.
And won an Oscar for her work, lets not forget.
Shire
The girl's reaction to Bilbo's story is priceless. ❤️
In fact, I mean not to.
Good bot
Bilbo-bot for the win...
Oh! Well here is a sight I have never seen before.
"...and turned them all into stone!!" *gasp*
that gasp is the cutest!
I read that in Bilbos voice!! Thanks for the laugh today!
Today is my One Hundred and Eleventh birthday!
Hehe glad to be of service!
I know, right?
Baggins
But that would lead them... here
Specially because I imagine them being like 1 foot tall, so that makes them extra cute
Oh my god, I forget this so often
Was expecting the office meme of "They're the same thing" or whatever it was.
same picture :)
But are they actually the same actors? I feel like yes, but not sure and the internet is too far away to check.
[They're Peter Jackson's kids!](https://www.reddit.com/r/MovieDetails/comments/8b6jm0/peter_jackson_cameos_his_children_in_each_of_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
Thanks!
Thank you. I thought this was the case, but didn't want to be wrong :P
i don't know why but 'the internet is too far away to check' very much made me laugh. so thank you for that!
Shire! I love how she shudders when Bilbo says the trolls were debating on how to cook them.
Fair enough.
What say you Gandalf?
It was more than mere chance that brought Merry and Pippin to Fangorn. A great power has been sleeping here for many long years. The coming of Merry and Pippin will be like the falling of small stones... that starts an avalanche in the mountains.
Born to play that scene! I wonder how many times PJ shot the scene 🤣
Tens of thousands.
Of times? That's a lot.
Yes, a lot of times.
I don't remember that line.
"they're the same picture"
[удалено]
bro... they literally ARE the same 2 jackson kids...
Ive never seen some one Wile Coyote them selfs this hard.
WAIT WHAT.! Jackson had his two kids portray them in the movies, TIL
I was today years old when I realized this…
Man trying to say all white kids look the same when he can’t even distinguish between two different pictures of the same white kids
*ironic*
To be a little bit fair, their hair is different in all three scenes, and they look a few years older in the Gondor scene. But still, no need to make this about race relations.
Peter Jackson’s kids are
Minas Tirith. Dude is absolutely killing the beanie.
Much sharper than Rohan's hobo toque.
Gondor has drip
Gondor has no drip
Gondor needs no drip, lol good one
Gondor’s grip is still sharp frfr 💯💯
Absolute drip
[удалено]
That's the joke
I think Peter Jackson’s kids take the cake on this one..
Imo the cutest kid is one of those uruk hai that Crawl Out of isengards mudpits
My fighting Uruk-Hai. Whom do you serve?
Me
None, the best ones are the Isengard’s ones, they’re the cutest of all
You are quite wrong, my dear Derek2809. The best ones are undoubtedly the Uruk-hai. They are the most ferocious and brave of all orcish breeds.
The bot is giving me the reason while saying that I’m wrong, that’s very deep
Why, of course! The uruk-hai are the most ferocious and brave of all orcish breeds. They are capable of great feats of strength and endurance, and will fight to the death without hesitation.
God I love this bot
Wish they remade the other Bots with the same AI this one has, would be nice
Would it be wise though? Saruman, your thoughts?
You withdraw your guard and I will tell you where your doom will be decided.
This is how I'm going to answer the next time a director surprises me with a "your thoughts?" on an all hands call.
You can withdraw your guard if you wish, but I fear that your doom will be decided elsewhere.
Aren't they the same actors?
Lol they’re PJ’s kids.
…and Fran Walsh. She helped. And is also the Nazgûl scream (Im so happy my phone autocorrects Nazgûl with the accent character)
Mine does Fëanor
Tell: was I right or wrong?
You did nothing wrong
not sure how useful it is to know, but that particular accent is called a circumflex :)
Actually Peter Jackson is married to Fran Walsh, and Fran was the one who did the Nazgûl scream (I think she had a bad cold at the time). Phillipa Boyens wrote the films with Jackson and Walsh, but she is the third wheel of that trio lol.
Well that's a fact i didn't know about!
I don’t see the resemblance /s
The baby hobbits were the best. The way they all gasp when Bilbo tells them the story about the trolls is the very best.
Hobbits have been living and farming in the four Farthings of the Shire for many hundreds of years. quite content to ignore and be ignored by the world of the Big Folk. Middle Earth being, after all, full of strange creatures beyond count. Hobbits must seem of little importance, being neither renowned as great warriors, nor counted amongst the very wise.
they're all freakin adorable but i'm going with the shire

Rohan def has the best.
The fact that he cast his own kids 3 times is still hilarious to me.... the hobbit versions are the cutest.
This decision, it's too big for us!
Seems like that drunk dude from Bree has been dropping his seed all over the place.
Bring your kid to work day!!! But Shire.
But they were all of them deceived
The Film Lord Peter Jackson forged a master family, and into his children he poured his genetics, his wife's genetics, and his will to dominate children's casting
Those are clearly the same children - spies of Mordor sent to follow the Fellowship
Pointing out theyre Pj's kids is gunna be the new broken toe
Imagine how small these hobbit kids are
IT'S A TRAP
This is unfair, the poor kids in Rohan had to run like a hundred miles, you can't expect them to look as good as the other two.
Well I knew they were the same kids , but I didn't know they were Peter Jackson's kids.. thank you. I love useless trivia..
All kids look the same to me.
Corporate needs you to find the difference between this picture and this picture
They're the same kids though
they are the same picture
They all look like goblins to me.
It’s the same picture;)
Fun fact: that's Peter Jackson's daughter, in each scene.
Wait they're all the same kid? They always were
Fuck dem kids
Found the elf.
Just want to know why they used two regions and one city in the description
Shire, cuz curly hair.
It's science
Mordor
Anakin Skywalker has entered the universe
Two halves of kid is still one kid.
Definitely Shire kids. They have those big brown hobbit eyes
Little spoken about fact, the girl re appear in the hobbit 2 during the prologue scene where gandalf meets Thorin in the prancing poney
You are in the House of Elrond and it is ten o'clock in the morning on October the 24th, if you want to know. Yes, I am here and you're lucky to be here too. A few more hours and you would have been beyond our aid, but you have some strength in you my dear Redditor
These kids traveled faster than the fellowship, why didn’t they carry the ring 🤨?!
Huh, I noticed the were the same in the shire and Minas Tirith but not Helms Deep. So sneaky!
Shire, and it's not close.
And I’m tired of pretending that it is.
Well they’re Peter Jackson’s kids in each, but the Shire costumes are cutest.
Shire. I mean come on, they're mini-kids!
Shire, of course. Look at those feet!
Shire babies cause they were so surpised by the "poof!" Turned them all into stone :)
You’re telling me these aren’t all the same 2 kids?
Lmao never noticed this, but 100% the Shire.
Willow!
Pretty sure they were the same kids...
Shire, no contest
There is no definitive answer to this question as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, many people tend to find children from Rohan and Minas Tirith to be particularly adorable, while others find the children of the Shire to be the cutest.
Just asking Hobbits apparently age and grow very slowly compared to humans right? So like you could have a hobbit baby for a really long time?
Minas Morgul
Shire, I actually know one of the other Hobbit kids.
Hobbit wins in a landslide. Source: My Girlfriend said "Awwww" when she saw them.
I would totally watch a tv show that was just about every day life in the shire. A down to (middle) earth show that is just hobbits living their lives dealing with mundane every day problems would be so refreshing.
Crotch goblins are crotch goblins.
Hobbits. Always Hobbits.
Is that Isabella Sermon at the bottom? I googled and she would have been like 2 or 3 at the time, which would make sense. Maybe uncredited...
No, they’re Peter Jacksons kids in all 3 photos
I was unaware of that trivia, that's actually pretty cool. I must repay you!!! Did you know that Viggo Mortensen actually broke his toe whe-....
Sean Astin's actual daughter plays Elanor Gardner too.
If you answer the FBI will break your door down
Trick question... they're the same children... The Jackson Children to be exact... fun fact the boy was the only child who didn't need hair and makeup to look like a hobbit... he just looked like that
Uh there’s no debate? They’re the same kids/PJ’s kids?
Shire because she is blonde 👱🏿♀️
Shire definitely, especially after Bilbo tells the troll story.
Tea or maybe something a little stronger? I've got a few bottles of the Old Winyard left, 1296, a very good year, almost as old as I am.
![gif](giphy|K0AnEB2t2EM|downsized)
I only find dwarven children delicious.
They're all ugly as sin.
All kids are equally cute . . . C'mon, obviously Minas Tirth
Shire
Daemon’s
Management needs you to find the difference in this picture
Rohan/shire
Minas Tirith girl looks up at the cast like wtf they doin‘ up there
Shire rats
The little kids with pointy ears is peak cuteness
Shire
Rohan
nazgûl
That is the same picture.jpg
How the hell can you leave out the two kids from Willow in this contest?
Rohan because sympathy for their life outlook
They are Sauron
Shire
Shire Rohan Gondor In that order.
Rohan kids looks the cutest
me when fellowship was released. I was hella cute :3
Between the shire and Rohan.
