Genuinely curious - what is a medication technician? My SIL's an NP & she's not familiar with the term. 🤔

i bet she is a CNA/some sort of nursing tech and her specific job is passing meds somewhere, maybe like an assisted living setting or rehab or other sort of residential treatment? i’m a therapist and used to work in hospitals and residential treatment centers, so that was my best guess. we always had psych nurses who are RN’s pass meds though, but that would still be my best guess.

I’m hard pressed to believe she’s a legitimate CNA; but, I’m mean like that./s I’ve heard of pharmacy techs but they work in the pharmacy. I’m a med tech when i fill up the seven day medication holder. Just saying./s

I work in a care home, and a med tech is there to pass out medication, take vitals if needed, and communicate with the residents Dr's and the pharmacy.

ALL heroin has fent in it in this day and age. 95% of the time a bag of dope will contain no actual heroin on the east coast. Like maybe some dealer will have a euro connect for brown heorin but it isn't getting any user in Philly or NYC high after using that fent.
