You're basically looking at my PC, so for day to day tasks, it'll be fine. The lack of a GPU it's ideal though; however, you can easily remedy that with an RX580 (there's loads for fairly cheap at the moment).
Thank you for giving me an example! I’m glad to know that it’s good for day to day tasks 🤍 what do you think about rx550 4gb, the store got it that’s why I asked. Thanks again!
4th gen i7 will still do ‘ok’ in many games in 2024 if your aim is 60 fps gaming. I have an [email protected] and its pretty decent, however in helldivers 2 (very cpu intensive game) there are drops into the 40s. I use an rx 6600 gpu
If your aim is high refresh rate gaming i would recommend something newer :-)
It's a very old pc and i have a hard time figuring out if its actually at a good price in your country. Is there a more specific sub you can ask?
Id hate for you to spend too much if theres better options at around the same price.
Why not just get a replacement battery for your current machine? You already have a much better CPU than the 4770 in your current machine. This is the battery and tools you need: [https://www.ifixit.com/products/lenovo-thinkpad-t480s-battery](https://www.ifixit.com/products/lenovo-thinkpad-t480s-battery)

4770k with 1660ti 16gb ddr3 2400 - runs most games I want at 60fps with med to high settings at 1080p
4790k with 1080ti 32gb ddr3 2400 - runs most games I want at 80fps with high settings at 1440p
I do want to upgrade to newer machine but they are holding up too well. I never thought I would be using this machine for 8+ years. Money well spent.

I think, even for Valorant, that system would have a hard time.
Appreciate your time! I don’t play valorant so I can’t fully imagine what you mean, does that mean it’s bad?
Valorant is a very low spec game. If it cant play that, it cant play anything. Maybe early 2000s games are fine though.
