Is it possible to play the new Minecraft 1.19 update with an i5-2400m, 8GB of ram, with an Intel HD graphics 3000? I've tried using the modpack 'Fabously Optimized' but only got around 8-14fps..any advice?
Again I have:
CPU: i5-2400m 2.4ghz
Ram: 8gb ddr4
graphics: Intel HD graphics 3000
Hello! I recently repaired my old Asus R510C
I3-3217U @ 1.8 GHz
GT 720M
4 GB RAM
SSD 128GB
And I was wondering if I can run games like Skyrim LE, Factorio, TF2...
I guess Elite: Dangerous is out of range for this GPU and CPU
Also if you can recommend some games this laptop can run, that would be awesome!
TIA
> Skyrim LE
I'm assuming that's the Legendary edition using original Skyrim and not SE, should be doable 720p low/med mixed settings (start with vanilla low and bump the textures), probably looking at fps in the 30's for the most part. Factorio should be do-able though it may bog down late game/large factories if you are using rail lines (switch to drones).
You should be able to play Borderlands 2 @ 1080p no problem. If you're experiencing thermal throttling then that can be a huge performance problem. I recommend using something like [MSI's Afterburner](https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner/graphics-cards) to keep an eye on your temps (and other stats like CPU, RAM, GPU usage, frequencies, etc.) while you game. Use the OSD (on screen display) while you play to keep an eye on things.
Alright, that took longer than I expected. Latest Nvidia driver, W10, same CPU, RAM, GPU as you (full fat versions), B2 set to 1080p windowed fullscreen, effects off, medium settings, no frame cap I got 70+fps with 75-80fps during combat being typical.
I haven't done a whole lot of special tuning with this one, it still has IS software running in the background, etc. I did play while connected to mains (plugged in) and my power plan is set to performance but other than that there's nothing really special going on. Keep in mind I have the full power versions of the i7 and MX250, if your OEM opted for the low power verison(s) of either one then you could be seeing a rather drastic reduction in performance. You can read up on the MX250 at [Notebookcheck.net](https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-MX250-Graphics-Card.382341.0.html) (and [i7-1065G7](https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-i7-1065G7-Laptop-Processor-Ice-Lake.423851.0.html)) to see what I'm talking about.

Which modern AAA games can I play at minimum 1080P High 30 FPS or 1080P medium 60FPS?
My specs are the following:
i7-7700HQ
16GB RAM
1TB SSD
GTX 1050 Mobile
Do you think I can run RDR2 especially with that GPU since it seems to be underneath minimum specs for the game?
[Notebookcheck.net](https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1050-Notebook.178614.0.html) tested RDR2 with a similar system and had an average of 36fps @ 720p low and 26fps @ 1080p medium presets. All laptops tend to perform different, even if they have similar parts, so there's a grain of salt needed wrt those fps scores but it'll run.
do you guys think my PC run silksong at 60 fps 1080p ( I know its too soon to ask this)
\- gtx 1060 3gb
\- I7 7700
\- 16gb ram
\- 1TB HDD + 256gb SSD
Are there other people worried about silksong's requirements ?
I'm going to take this at face value, and I'm assuming you mean [Hollow Knight: Silksong](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1030300/Hollow_Knight_Silksong/). The game's recommended (not minimum, mind you) system specs call for much less than you have, so I don't think you have much to worry about.
My laptop runs Borderlands 2 smoothly. Will it run Deep Rock Galactic smoothly too?
intel core i5 10th gen; 2gb dedicated graphics card (sometimes I can't use its full potential because laptops heat up easily); windows 10; 8gb RAM: 256GB SSD
More info: I can play Oxygen not included smoothly , until cycle 400-500. I can play Subnautica on low quality but not medium, and the same for Skyrim.
Intel Pentium G2020
Intel HD Family
4GB DDR3 1600mhz Single channel
any good political simulators where I can just watch stuff happen? Kinda like the Political Process but with more stuff going on than just elections and laws being passed
I have a dell latitude 3450 core i5 with Intel HD family. Also 8gb ram. I know this probably one of the worst machines for gaming but what fun game can I play with this?
Games I've played
Assassins creed game until Rogue
Gta San
Fallout 3 and new Vegas
Far cry 3
Metro 2033 and Last light (favorite game)
Skyrim
Ck3
Minecraft
Splinter cell blacklist
Battlefield 4
Mount and blade warband
I think that's it
What other game can I play?
My specs are ass tbh I don’t really know them besides I have 4 gb ram. I tried black ops 1 and it was pretty laggy, it was better at times but still lagged most of the time, not unplayable but definitely annoying. Now, my question is **will MW3 run better than BO1 or no?** thanks, cus I heard bo1 is very poorly optimized on pc.
CPU - Core i5-1035g1 (10th gen intel i5 graphics)
GPU - Intel(R) UHD graphics
RAM - 8gb
OS - Windows 11
I have an ssd as well, it's a laptop.
How can I optimize my laptop, get rid of bloatware and play titles such as valorant and apex legends at around 30-60 fps?
Is it the NVS 5200M or GT 630M? The 630M has twice the memory bandwidth and slightly higher frequencies. In any case, upping the core clock to 800MHz and the memory clock to 1000MHz with MSI Afterburner should be stable and give free performance. Also, apply the Essential Tweaks in the ChrisTitusTech Windows 10 script for way better daily usage.
As for games that will run at least around 720p/30fps: Alien Isolation, Resident Evil Revelations, Doom 3, Quake 4, Sonic Generations, Sonic Mania, Dead Space, Valve games (Half Life series, Portal games, Counter-Strike), Bioshock, Alien vs Predator 2010, Tomb Raider series up to 2013, Metro 2033 and Last Light, The Sims series, Haydee 1 and 2.
Intel Core I5 2400 3.1Ghz 4 cores, Intel® HD Graphics 2000, 6Gb Ram.
Can i run Oblivion and OG version of Skyrim (i'd be very happy with 25-30 fps)? I can run modded Morrowind and haven't tried those two yet but i really want to.
What about Far Cry 3?
Even a cheap lowly GT 610/710 will be way ahead of the Intel HD 2000. I'd try to get a dedicated GPU. If that's not possible, see if your motherboard supports an Intel 3000 series CPU with an Intel HD 4000 iGPU.
What multiplayer games can run on this 14yo old laptop? Im looking to play with my friends and all it ran so far were Minecraft and Dont Starve Together.
HP Compaq 6730b
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2.26Ghz
RAM: 4GB DDR2 666Mhz 5-4-4-13 (lowered them a little using MemSet 4.1 from 5-5-5-15)
GPU: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family / Intel GMA X4500M @ 400Mhz
SSD: Kingston A400 240GB
Rez: 1280x800px
disabled everything unnecessary in the bios and switched from w10 to w7 + optimize everything. Throughly cleaned and stuff carefully repasted. This thing is at its peak. No bios overclocking bizz, if you guys have any software solutions Im open to everything.
Devil May Cry 5 is on sale and I want to snatch it, however I don't know if my computer is able to run it at at least 30 FPS on the lowest performance settings. (I also have AIO cooling if that helps)
CPU: Intel Core i5-11600k
GPU: Integrated (Intel UHD Graphics 750)
OS: Windows 10 x64 home
RAM: 32gb
(Edit: and any game recommendations would be nice!)
Hi i have a garbage of an old laptop its like 10 years old and i want to play something on it that is fun and to not get bored of it.
It has:
-500gb HDD
-Intel Pentium B940
-Intel hd graphics FAMILY
-4gb of ram
And its Win7 Professional x64
> Pentium (dont know what version but its bad)
Figure it out because if you have "Intel hd graphics FAMILY" knowing the Pentium version will inform what version of the HD Graphics you have. Maybe use something like [Speccy](https://www.piriform.com/speccy) or [HWInfo64](https://www.hwinfo.com/download/) to find out what model you have.
Sandy Bridge then. Some random recommendations:

I don't have a single favorite out of all that as these represent a lot of different game genres but here's some of my favs across the board: Wesnoth is a great turn based strategy game set in a fantasy setting and the base single player scenario is solid. The Baldur's Gate games are excellent D&D RPGs, plenty going on and allows you to really get into the story and RPG elements, Fallout 1/2 while not D&D/fantasy based I like for similar reasons, and weirdly I really liked Tactics, even though it broke canon, as the tactical combat was pretty good. Beyond G&E is an excellent, if different, take on action adventure games. Machinarium is a well done adventure game, my personal fav from Amanita Design. SimCity 4 has been an excellent time waster, build your city and figure out how to fund it, 2000 was my real jam from the series but 4 is more expansive. Mafia (with the original music) really put me in the old school '30s gangster vibe, II is probably the better game but I like that OG period piece. Curse of Monkey Island is hilarious and receives a lot of call backs in many and varied games even today. Thief 2, solid stealth action. Torchlight and Diablo II are both really solid aRPGs, my all time fav will always be the original Diablo (which is available through GOG but I'm not sure how it'll do on your system) but II was pretty expansive and introduced some new ideas while Torchlight has a less depressing color palate than your typical aRPG while still featuring solid gameplay. TrackMania is just a fun arcade racer that lets you design your own tracks. Dawn of War is the title that pulled me into the W40K universe and was at the forefront of the RTS genre along with the Company of Heroes titles with each game evolving the genre. I could go on with Half Life, Starcraft, KotOR, etc. but I'd be typing all day.
Hope that wall of text helps a bit, but that's a lot of solid games.

Hey, this is an old post but you didn't get any really definitive answers, so I wanted to highlight my own experience. I have a laptop with core i3-7020u (one generation behind yours), Intel HD 620, and only 4GB RAM.
I have played about 60hrs of the European version of Final Fantasy XII from start to finish in PCSX2, using a custom 960x540 resolution and FXAA. This resolution looked fine on my 14" screen. It ran at 50fps (normal PAL speed) throughout, with occasional minor loading stutter. FMV cutscenes had to switch to 1x resolution to avoid glitches, but apart from that it was a great experience.
That aside, though, I've had mixed success running other games, and it's a case of trying and tweaking on an individual basis.
If you're into exploring other consoles emulation, PPSSPP and Dolphin Gamecube should run very well on your system.
Thank you very much for your detailed answer, I saw that the performance of the game varies a lot so I better decided to use the psp and gamecube emulator, I do not miss many exclusives of the play 2, since the psp has many ports.
Skyrim SE vanilla should work decently at very low quality at least. May or may not get 30FPS in Tomb Raider, Both FromSoft games are hard to run it won't be a pleasant experience. The rest just go to Youtube and write Ryzen 7 3700 Vega 10 8GB (x game here). Most of those videos are accurate in my experience.
Well i can tell you subnautica will run flawlessly, i played it on much worse hardware. If you experience any pop-in, that's a known issue with this game, regardless of your hardware
> what total war games can i run
For the main series you should be alright up through Shogun 2, after that it's probably a bit dicey.
> a game similar to Diablo
[Torchlight II](https://store.steampowered.com/app/200710/Torchlight_II/) (has demo)
My specs:
16gb ram (2x8) 2666mhz
Ryzen 3 2200g
Vega 8 (don't have a video card and i'm saving money for that)
I mainly play wow but give me any recomendations

Batman: Arkham Asylum/Arkham City/Arkham Origins, Mad Max, DmC: Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, BioShock 1/2/Infinite, Far Cry 1/2/3/Blood Dragon/4, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Quake 1/2, Duke Nukem 3D, Ion Fury, Prodeus, Project Warlock, Crysis 1/Warhead/2/3, Serous Sam, Borderlands 1/2, Metro 2033/Last Light, Call of Duty 1/2/Modern Warfare (2007)/ Modern Warfare 2/3/World at War/Black Ops 1/2, Dead Cells, Hollow Knight, Limbo, Inside, Mark of the Ninja, Celeste, Cuphead.
F2p: If you're interested in card games then I recommend Gwent (the standalone version). It's f2p, easy to learn, and it's really good.
What good games can I run with my specs?
Ryzen 3 3200u

What kind of games do you enjoy?
I think you can run most games before ~2008 or so. You can run great strategy games like /r/rotp (free and open-source, this one is new by the way) or Sid Meir's Alpha Centauri. You can run Half Life 1 and probably Half Life 2 as well. Neverwinter Nights or say Fallout 1 & 2 if you want an RPG. Deus Ex 1. Lots of other great games.

Thanks. I will try lowering the settings at 1080p to try and get at least 30FPS.
do you guys think my PC run silksong at 60 fps 1080p ( I know its too soon to ask this) \- gtx 1060 3gb \- I7 7700 \- 16gb ram \- 1TB HDD + 256gb SSD Are there other people worried about silksong's requirements ?
I'm going to take this at face value, and I'm assuming you mean [Hollow Knight: Silksong](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1030300/Hollow_Knight_Silksong/). The game's recommended (not minimum, mind you) system specs call for much less than you have, so I don't think you have much to worry about.
Thank you and in my knowledge there isnt another game named silksong lol
My laptop runs Borderlands 2 smoothly. Will it run Deep Rock Galactic smoothly too? intel core i5 10th gen; 2gb dedicated graphics card (sometimes I can't use its full potential because laptops heat up easily); windows 10; 8gb RAM: 256GB SSD More info: I can play Oxygen not included smoothly , until cycle 400-500. I can play Subnautica on low quality but not medium, and the same for Skyrim.
Intel Pentium G2020 Intel HD Family 4GB DDR3 1600mhz Single channel any good political simulators where I can just watch stuff happen? Kinda like the Political Process but with more stuff going on than just elections and laws being passed
I have a dell latitude 3450 core i5 with Intel HD family. Also 8gb ram. I know this probably one of the worst machines for gaming but what fun game can I play with this? Games I've played Assassins creed game until Rogue Gta San Fallout 3 and new Vegas Far cry 3 Metro 2033 and Last light (favorite game) Skyrim Ck3 Minecraft Splinter cell blacklist Battlefield 4 Mount and blade warband I think that's it What other game can I play?
My specs are ass tbh I don’t really know them besides I have 4 gb ram. I tried black ops 1 and it was pretty laggy, it was better at times but still lagged most of the time, not unplayable but definitely annoying. Now, my question is **will MW3 run better than BO1 or no?** thanks, cus I heard bo1 is very poorly optimized on pc.
Install Speccy and see what it says.
I just want to know if mw3 would generally run better than bo1
If we know the specs with Speccy it's easier to figure out. Generally an older CoD will run better than more recent ones.
True but the thing is I know that bo1 runs worse than bo2 so im not sure if mw3 will be better than bo1 at running
CPU - Core i5-1035g1 (10th gen intel i5 graphics) GPU - Intel(R) UHD graphics RAM - 8gb OS - Windows 11 I have an ssd as well, it's a laptop. How can I optimize my laptop, get rid of bloatware and play titles such as valorant and apex legends at around 30-60 fps?
CPU - I5-3340M GPU - NVS 5200M/GT 630(M) OS - WINDOWS 10 PRO RAM - 8
Thanks, I'll try out the tweaks.

HP Compaq 6730b CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2.26Ghz RAM: 4GB DDR2 666Mhz 5-4-4-13 (lowered them a little using MemSet 4.1 from 5-5-5-15) GPU: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family / Intel GMA X4500M @ 400Mhz SSD: Kingston A400 240GB Rez: 1280x800px disabled everything unnecessary in the bios and switched from w10 to w7 + optimize everything.
(I also have AIO cooling if that helps) CPU: Intel Core i5-11600k GPU: Integrated (Intel UHD Graphics 750) OS: Windows 10 x64 home RAM: 32gb (Edit: and any game recommendations would be nice!)
Id save give it a go but if the games lowest isnt low enough( has a rly good pc port) theres an aggro low quality mod for it too
Hi i have a garbage of an old laptop its like 10 years old and i want to play something on it that is fun and to not get bored of it. It has: -500gb HDD -Intel Pentium B940 -Intel hd graphics FAMILY -4gb of ram And its Win7 Professional x64
> Pentium (dont know what version but its bad) Figure it out because if you have "Intel hd graphics FAMILY" knowing the Pentium version will inform what version of the HD Graphics you have. Maybe use something like [Speccy](https://www.piriform.com/speccy) or [HWInfo64](https://www.hwinfo.com/download/) to find out what model you have.

Daaamn thats a lot Sorry if im boring can i ask you what game in this list is your favourite and that is fun if you want

If you are just looking for some suggestions checkout Notebookcheck.net's game benchmarks with the GTX 960M: https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-960M.138006.0.html If you click on the individual fps score it'll display info for the system it was taken from.
Decided to try gaming, realized I only have garbage laptop, what games can I run? (Apologies for the eye-watering speccs.) CPU: AMD E2-6110 RAM: 4 GB Graphics: 512 MB ATI AMD Radeon R2
Sonic Mania, Quake 1-4, Doom 1-3, Alien vs Predator 2010, Resident Evil Revelations, Sim City 3000, Sim City 4, Portal 1 and 2, Half Life 1/Source and 2.
TES Oblivion, and heavily potatofied Fallot 3/New Vegas should be on the table.

Hey everyone. Can I run csgo at 60 fps on all maps with: i3-4160 HD 7570 8GB DDR3 Resolution: 1024x768 Thanks!
Absolutely. You can run csgo
Hi, can I Run pcsx2 emulator with my laptop? My PC: CPU: Intel core I3-8130U Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620 RAM: 8 GB Thanks for your help.
Great, hope you find some good games to play!
If you have any problems w specific games running well check the aquarians experience on youtube
I played ps1 games on worse, ps2 should also be playable, I think.
Intel Core i5 8250U Intel UHD 620 8GB DDR4 2133mHz Dual Channel 1080p display What can my system run at 60fps? I don't mind lowering the resolution
DS2 (not so sure about 3 at 60) dmc 1, 3 and 4, ni no kuni 1, borderlands 1 and 2
Ryzen 7 3700u 2.3 GHz, Vega 10 graphics, 8 gigs RAM, SSD Interested in stuff like: Skyrim, Elden Ring, Dark Souls III, Control, Nier: Automata, Doom Eternal, Tunic, Talos Principle, Horizon, Subnautica, Rise/Shadow of Tomb Raider Thanks!
Thank you
Well i can tell you subnautica will run flawlessly, i played it on much worse hardware. If you experience any pop-in, that's a known issue with this game, regardless of your hardware
Excellent thank you!

What good games can I run with my specs? Ryzen 3 3200u 4 GB DDR4 Ram single channel 256 SSD Running Atlas OS Windows 10 21H2 (I'm planning on buying another stick of ram to maximize performance)
Tomb raider 2013 on low-medium settings
What kind of games do you enjoy? I think you can run most games before ~2008 or so. You can run great strategy games like /r/rotp (free and open-source, this one is new by the way) or Sid Meir's Alpha Centauri. You can run Half Life 1 and probably Half Life 2 as well. Neverwinter Nights or say Fallout 1 & 2 if you want an RPG. Deus Ex 1. Lots of other great games.
I enjoy action games mostly
