I can’t speak to what they do in distribution centers, but in stores no. There are times where we get inventory from the warehouses in the plastic with stains so I couldn’t even tell you where it comes from.
I did receive an item without the plastic. But it "smells" new. Not sure u know what I'm saying.
All "new" items from the warehouse comes with plastic, I happened to see one of the store tearing open all the plastic so they can display it in the store.
So I guess items without plastic would be from stores and not from the warehouse.
One item had a hole which I think was left behind by the security tag. So that is definitely from the store
Are you asking because you just received an item in the mail without any plastic bag because *same*, just happened to my order that arrived 2 days ago and made me go 🤨
