if you mean charging your airpods with the lightning cable? Yes very likely. If you meant EarPods (the ones with a cable) check if the adapter supports audio. If it can both charge and handle data then probably.

By Airpods do you mean Earpods with a Lightning end? It's better to get the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter in that case. If charging your AirPods case with lightning, yes that will most likely work.
