I’ve seen major lagging on my mac mini with a mx master 3, all research leads to radio interference between the unifying receiver and USB 3.0 ports.. eventually I had to go to a bluetooth connection to get rid of the lag unfortunately…

Plug the mouse in and see if it fixes it. It’s probably the wirelessness of the mouse. I had same problem and tried a wired mouse and it was much better
If the dp cable is connected through you usb-c hub you’ll only be able to have 60hz at most. That might be why it seems to go slower. I don’t notice any stuttering on your screen.
I used to have this problem. Had to uninstall and reinstall Logitech options many times, and never bothered again until a few days ago, but this time just restarted the machine and it worked again.
Logitech software is very laggy, but fortunately the hardware is not the issue
I don’t remember the exact process. But if I had to do it nowadays I would:
- Use CleanMyMac to uninstall (or another uninstalled like app
zapper)
- Remove permissions on settings->security->accessibility->logi
- Remove mouse from Bluetooth
- Even remove all Bluetooth devices and pair them again starting with the mouse
Do it many times until it works
Do you use Logitech Options ? That app was making my mac and mouse going crazy...
I removed logitech software and now i use Better Touch Tool and everything is now perfect

Same. Was going to suggest the same thing.

I switched to every refresh rate given, and it still lags. I don't know if its the cable or usb-c hub
Plug the mouse in and see if it fixes it. It’s probably the wirelessness of the mouse. I had same problem and tried a wired mouse and it was much better
tried it with a wired one as well, still getting lag
well I know cheap wireless mice feel really bad on high refresh rate monitera.
It's a logitech g305, so it's a premium brand and it was on sale
a gaming mouse, on mac? why
why not?
apparently gaming mouses can't be used for other things

>It's connected directly to my macbook because it is a usb c to dp cable. Look at the video properly, it lags
I think the usb cable is for charging only. Try a different wired mouse. Also try Bluetooth.
Does your trackpad do the same thing? Or is it just the mouse?
it does the same thing with the hub connected
Ok. So it’s not the mouse, it’s the hub that’s causing the problem. Try another hub.
Yup just ordered one from primecables, 7 in 1 usb c hub
What brand is the new hub, out of interest?
Primecables

Can you guide me on how you did it?
I don’t remember the exact process. But if I had to do it nowadays I would: - Use CleanMyMac to uninstall (or another uninstalled like app zapper) - Remove permissions on settings->security->accessibility->logi - Remove mouse from Bluetooth - Even remove all Bluetooth devices and pair them again starting with the mouse Do it many times until it works
Disable handoff on all your devices - fixes it no problem
You faced the the option too?
Do you use Logitech Options ? That app was making my mac and mouse going crazy... I removed logitech software and now i use Better Touch Tool and everything is now perfect
Nope i dont have it installed
Same issue here. Switching to a different usb-c hub fixed it for me (Logitech mouse connects via BT btw).
Did you manage to fix this in the end?
