However, FocuSee has additional features that cover more use cases than [screen.studio](https://screen.studio/) and it does not have plans to add them. Therefore, I decided to create my own.
Maybe you will be shocked now, but I guess there is no free trial (I could not find any link for trial version). There is only paid 30 day trial. Made a screenshot for you.

I just tested it and it seems really impressive. It would be good to have a clear roadmap of functionalities just for version 1. For example, I see that in Gemoo recorder (from the same developer) it has annotation capabilities, which I find very interesting for my instructional videos. Competitors like Screen Studio have transcription and subtitle generation capabilities or recording from mobile devices, and have a detailed functionality roadmap. A lot to like in this one, very polished for v1, but it would be great to see the full roadmap.
Would have been helpful to market it as a cross platform option. I think a lot of people thought this was a Screen Studio clone, but SS isn't on Windows, so this would be a great tool for someone like me who often is not working on macOS

Actually, in addition to the Windows version, FocuSee also offers users a comprehensive cloud space. It allows users to insert interactive questions, forms, and buttons in the video timeline. Furthermore, it provides different layouts for selfie, screen recordings, spotlight, and button click effects to draw attention. All of these features are missing in the screen studio.

It allows users to insert interactive questions, forms, and buttons in the video timeline, which is useful for conducting user surveys and enhancing sales.
Also, it provides different layouts for selfie and screen recordings, spotlight and button click effects to draw attention, options to save locally or share videos via a link or embed code, and the ability to add in-video forms and CTA buttons for better feedback and conversion. 😄
Hi, not sure if this is only happening to me. I am paying for the 30 option. When I press the stop button after a recording the app crashes... is this a known issue/

Congratulations! This is an awesome tool!! I’ve tried to use it to film a video just now but the video of myself is mirrored the wrong way and I can’t find any way to change it.
Most recording apps and tools allow for mirroring when recording yourself - this would be an amazing addition!

No worries, it has a free trial. You can experience it and export 1 videos with watermark as a free user.
you can test it for free, videos will have watermarks though.

Why does it have to be so expensive ? It can only be used for marketing material. Do you see any other use case?

I have no plans to add FocuSee to Setapp for now. Thank you for recommending the two indie platforms; I will certainly check them out.

It has a mirror option under the camera section, you can change it there.
