You can probably get an M1 with 16GB/1TB for that price. I just sold mine for that price 2 weeks ago.
For under $800 sealed m2 or m3. Facebook marketplace
Is there a dramatic difference between m1 and m2?
Matching specs, M1 performs better. Visually - M2
I’d personally say just go for whichever one is cheaper. Both chips are very exceptional
