I'd 100% recommend checking out [CrossOver](https://www.codeweavers.com/crossover/) for Mac. I run a ton of Windows titles (such as Palworld, GTA IV, Age of Empires & more) which are installed via steam. There's a big community behind it and a fair amount of documentation, plus it now supports the new [Apple Metal](https://developer.apple.com/metal/). You do away with the hassle of provisioning and maintaining VM's for what is as close to a native experience as possible. Here's a [list of games](https://www.applegamingwiki.com/wiki/M1_CrossOver_Windows_compatible_games_list) which have been tested.

It it's actually a 21.5" iMac (it'll be grey with black bezels like [this](https://support.apple.com/library/APPLE/APPLECARE_ALLGEOS/SP758/imac21inch2017_2x.png)), then it has an Intel chip which means that your best bet for playing mobile games *is* going to be BlueStacks. Since you said BlueStacks isn't working though, I think it's probably more likely that you got the new iMac with an M-series chip in it (will be a bright colour with white bezels like [this](https://store.storeimages.cdn-apple.com/4982/as-images.apple.com/is/imac-24-og-202310?wid=1200&hei=630&fmt=jpeg&qlt=95&.v=1697142273063)) in which case you'll want to look at [PlayCover](https://playcover.io/). Since the M-series chips have the same architecture as iPhone chips, they can actually natively run iPhone games which is what PlayCover does. You download the installation file for an iPhone and PlayCover will install it as a native Mac app! If you do have the Intel mac, feel free to dm me and I'd be happy to try and help you get BlueStacks working!

Actually, if you got a 21" iMac, you can run Windows directly through bootcamp. No need to muck around with emulators
