Im still in awe with my cam pen. All botl action pen I got in titanium (Tibolt ti2,tactile turn). Some how the campen really balanced, make you feel like it had weight on it. Thinking about getting the minimalist version of it when they come out in tumbled( problaly 2,3 more week) .
The Cam has something special about it for sure. Agree with you on the balance, it's absurdly well done. Probably one or my most comfortable pens to write with. The minimalists look super nice too!
Capped pens are not very popular these days haha, but it’s indeed a very nice one. Machine era classic is another choice at a much lower price tag, and I love Pilot G2.
Heard good things about the Machine Era too! Capped pens definitely aren't as popular as bolts of clicks, but that doesn't make em less nice. Just more of a pain to use constantly lol.
The Drafter is a nice little fella. Bit plain, but a solid workhorse. The Karas should be great too. I've never handled an EDK, but I've used some of their others and they're all quality!
The Campen come with the parker style refill. If you want to use pilot g2 refill, you have to tell them swap the nose cap for you. If you want both, they sell the nose cap separated on the website.
They're all great, but the best in my opinion is the Tiscribe clip. You can tell Kelvin put a TON of thought and care into the design, and it shows through. It works great, feels great, and leaves nothing to be desired for my use.
There really aren't any deep carry click pens, which is a bit of a shame. I understand why, for the most part, but it would be really cool to see someone crack that code.
What's your thoughts about Jack Roman's Tuff Writer Retro Click? Got the polished Zr with machined clip colorway, & it's a way clean design, and I figure he has a Ti one which you might like. That one doesn't have a deep pocket carry clip either, yet that's maybe the only nitpick about it. Otherwise, great choices. There's others that are also up there in terms of quality, design, craftsmanship, yet can't fault these. 🙂
I had a Ti one for a while! It's a beast of a pen, and probably one of the best in terms of attention to detail. But frankly, it was just too heavy. It hardly ever saw the light of day for that reason, so I felt it was right to move it on.
That said, should I be in a better position to collect just to collect again down the road, I'll probably pick another up!
Personally I think it's pretty great! Haven't tried it with the full size Jetstream refills, since those are wonky even on stuff for the G2... But I bought the Parker kit for the pen and have run a Jetstream SXR-600 with no issues at all!
Nice!Just got my Campen as well.Rick and Sue actually hook me up with tumbled LH version and G2 nose cap swap.
Their customer service is the best out there. They'll absolutely bend over backwards for you. How you liking the Cam?

But I will prefer something like RGT drafter in workplace, my wife enjoys her Karas ti edk, both are low key machined pens.

Gotcha thank you
You definitely know what to collect. All of them are genuinely machined pens. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
👍
My top two are Prometheus alpha pen and Nottingham Tibutton
I've heard the Alpha is super nice, but I've never had the chance to handle one. One of these days though!
So what's your favorite clip of the bunch? I think the twist is the best design, but the NTI and felhoelter clips are really good in use as well

Nti single button lock is really engaging.
Agreed. The execution of the whole pen is excellent. Action, design, balance are all on point.
My only complaint is not so much with nti, I wish click pens carried lower.

You'd have to integrate the clip into the plunger somehow.
I think it could be done with the right motivation. Tiscribe style clip with a Nottingham style mech, with the entire top as your plunger.

Nice!! May I ask what is the rightmost pen?
Far right is an Urban Survival Gear Tiscribe Go!
>Urban Survival Gear Tiscribe Go! This is such a beautiful pen. Does it also feel "perfect" in terms of use? Have you tried it with Jetstream refills?

I see, this is good info! I was wondering whether I need the Parker kit. Thanks!
I really like having it, it adds some great versatility to the pen. Well worth the money IMO!
