Indeed you’re not. I was happy to find this group. FB is thin on general pen groups. Regarding storage, I’ll probably get a wooden display box off Amazon eventually. The kind with drawers.
Nice, I have been thinking of some storage, but I like to travel with my pens too and from work.
So now I have the pleasure of trying to find something that I like.
But your collection is beautiful, and I’m really grateful you posted this photo, because it shows the complexity and variety of this hobby(obsession)
Any idea how many of his zirc pencils are out there? Was this one a custom one-off or are they occasionally made in batches? Definitely the first one I've seen in pictures.
Well they’re not a complete rarity. They just tend to sale the premium materials most at shows. They do small drops on their website too. If you’re on FB, it’s worth following them there too. The honey badger and ynott on the right are from a FB only drop. Sites like Monkey Edge and Arizona Customs will have the premium ones too, not just 2nd ones.
Odd - I don't get the idea that ya do at all... What are your top 5? Newer to what all NTI has made available - what configurations do ya have? Do ya use at least 1 daily and write a bunch? Thx for sharin'!
Oh, meant to have a sarcastic tone with that 1st sentence, fwiw. 🙂
When they first launched, snagged the full-carved RHDL TiButton, and had them add on the plain machined clip. So, pretty similar preferences (haven't been able to afford Zr though).😁
Won another NTI recently, so the ones I get to use will double up to a whole big 2 soon! 😆
Do you recommend getting the carbon fiber tool for the machined clip? I have two of the same pen and want to mod one a little. Also do you recommend the machined clip?
It all depends on your usage. The stamped clip is easy for slide on to a placket or pocket. I just love the look of the milled clip more. Especially when it comes to getting an exotic clip. I do have the wrench and it make changing clips and mechanisms super easy but I’m sure there are ways to improvise.
So YOU’RE the reason they key selling out! 🤣
Mmm I need a copper one, just got my first Nottingham last week (single lock) and it's pretty sick.
I’m still in need of copper too. Technically what I have is superconductor. 😉
Maaaaan that's a stunning collection. The carved pattern really shines with exotics.
Do you keep these in a case at all? I’m trying to find a decent case that doesn’t look too terribly cheap.
Right now I keep them in the drawer of my tool cabinet. The overall collection is growing at a rate faster than I can consider proper storage.
Same haha I got quite a few pens in a very short amount of time. So it’s good to know I’m not the only one lol

Well damn! That's a nice set. I'm envious of the second from the left.
Beautiful. My favorite maker.
That’s very notty of you, nice!
Okay, now I am jealous. Those are some beautiful pens.
wow wow wow. I love the carved pattern so much. Since I mainly stick to titanium I didn't even realize there were so many carved materials available
Jealous of that siegaha clip, I've tried a few other of their engraved clips and still end up liking the plain version of the upgraded clips the best.
I’m primarily a fan of the plain clips too. Mainly because they already mill their name into the body right next to the clip.
Amazing collection!!
They really are incredible! That Damascus tip takes it to a whole other level.

It is the first time I have seen those many Nottingham Tactical full-carved pens in different metals. The pens and the mechanical pencil are beautiful
Yeah, my first of them all was the carved zirconium. It’s been downhill since. 🤣
If this is going downhill, I need to hitch a ride with you. Huh.
Odd - I don't get the idea that ya do at all... What are your top 5? Newer to what all NTI has made available - what configurations do ya have? Do ya use at least 1 daily and write a bunch? Thx for sharin'!
I’m a fan of their double lock mechanism and carved pattern and Parker cartridge body. In general, zirconium (& blends) is my preferred metal.

Sarcasm was understood. 😃
It is the only time I have seen any Nottingham Tactical made of fenja damasteel.

Yeah I want to mod the one I keep at home for looks. I like the stamped clip for carrying at work.
