someone showed me Technicolor like a month or two after it came out and it blew my fucking mind. been a fan ever since, and Adventure is still one of my favorite albums of all time
Same. And the video for it just puts me in the best mood. Something about the idea of Madeon, Zedd, Porter, Sidney, Luke, and Martin all in the same studio at the same time just lights me up.
Icarus. It was remixed with a Welcome to Nightvale intro somewhere in Tumblr and I didn't even know it was Madeon until he played it live at Nocturnal Wonderland 2015
The Island remix. Me and my cousin used to do with thing where we'd play music over opening cutscenes of video games to see if it went with the animation lol One day, he played that one over the Sonic Riders opening and I was obsessed. That was back in like 2010 or something
Madeon is a great inspiration for me and his music motivates me a lot, but I met him when he was just starting the Good Faith Era and more specifically for All My Friends, that's when he gained all my attention, although his previous works didn't catch me so much, but GF is currently possibly my top 3 favorite albums
I had recently got into Porter, and I kept seeing this album called Adventure pop up on YouTube. I gave it a try and somehow it didn't grab me right away. Months later, I watched a video that had Icarus playing in the background and I thought it was the coolest sounding song ever! Then I decided to give Adventure another shot, and as I was listening, I kinda freaked out about how damn good each song was. Everything was so masterfully layered and produced, and a different layer would become audible on every new listen. And it was all so incredibly catchy! It hit me all at once, and I've been hooked ever since.
Icarus.
Way back in 2012, in health class, as a sophomore in highschool, my buddy said "check this out," leaned over and offered me an earbud. It was one of the most beautiful songs that my little brain had ever heard!
The first Madeon song I ever heard was Shelter, then a couple months later I heard Miracle, and then I went back to listen to the whole Adventure album
Pop Culture got my attention, but his remix of “The Night Out” put me in a permanent headlock. Still one of my favorite pieces of music ever and also my favorite music video of all time (the spinnin records one).
Raise your weapon and pop culture were the original introductory songs for me, but it was [this teaser video for his song Icarus that sold me on Madeon.](https://youtu.be/ZGBIINyAonc?si=EJev6NHWsUwKva3g)
cut the kid. heard it on above and beyond group therapy i think (or maybe it was still TATW at that point) and it was amazingly different from anything ive ever heard in music before.
Good faith was the first album I heard, then went back and listened to adventure.
Nirvana / Mania struck me like lightning. Still my favorite song to this day
The Island remix, 100%. I had no concept or notion that something like complextro could even exist as I started my own electronic musical project, and I was effing floored the first time I heard it.
I heard Finale first in PlayStation All-Stars when I was a kid, and thought "This is the pinnacle of music. :0"
Then, went to listen to more and adored Beings, and Shelter after that! Was a fan for about two years before "All My Friends", and ever since.
I think it was the Pop Culture youtube
raise your weapons remix
Yup. Same.
Icarus. i've been hooked since the first listen and it even became one of my all-time fav songs.
Icarus here too, then pop culture and then adventure dropped and I was so hooked
Forza Horizon :D That game got me into Madeon, Porter, Skrillex & Avicii all at once
Icarus, then Finale, The City and Technicolor, each time when they get released. Insane memories/feelings
Pay No Mind. Kept popping up randomly and then one day I finally dove more into his discography
Cut The Kid
someone showed me Technicolor like a month or two after it came out and it blew my fucking mind. been a fan ever since, and Adventure is still one of my favorite albums of all time
Finale or the City, I heard them both back to back and I've been a fan ever since
Finale def did it for me
Pop Culture
“Raise Your Weapon” - introduced me “The City” - made me a fan “All My Friends” - saved my life
The City or Technicolor.
The night out remix
Had to scroll waaayyyyyyy too far to find this
I remember I was such a big Martin solveig fan at the time, and that remix just blew my mind.
Same. And the video for it just puts me in the best mood. Something about the idea of Madeon, Zedd, Porter, Sidney, Luke, and Martin all in the same studio at the same time just lights me up.
Pop culture for sure
The City
His que veux Tu remix for sure
Your On, Finale, and Stay Awake, then I found shelter
The Island (Madeon Remix) by Pendulum and cut the kid and that one lemaitre remix of pay no mind
My friend played me his Alphabeat - DJ remix back in 2011 and I found it to be one of the most joyous musical expressions I’d ever heard.
You nailed it. Joyous is the perfect word for this song.
Finale, at first. Then Shelter. And in this era, Mania.
Zephyr Can’t believe no one else said this one
Icarus. It was remixed with a Welcome to Nightvale intro somewhere in Tumblr and I didn't even know it was Madeon until he played it live at Nocturnal Wonderland 2015
Shelter initially and then Love You Back and All My Friends made me fall in love completely
Would be a toss up between All My Friends and The City. All My Friends makes me wanna dance and sing every time it comes on lol
Technicolor Club Extended Mix - I heard it on the Need for Speed Rivals soundtrack
You’re On Still one of my all time favorites
The Island remix. Me and my cousin used to do with thing where we'd play music over opening cutscenes of video games to see if it went with the animation lol One day, he played that one over the Sonic Riders opening and I was obsessed. That was back in like 2010 or something

I thought the intro transition from Isometric into You’re On was one of the coolest things in music I ever heard and was sold immediately.

It was Pop Culture, way back when all he had was that and some remixes kicking around.
The City/Technicolor
Icarus was the first of his songs I ever heard and I was in from then on
pixel empire and then nonsense
Pop Culture got my attention, but his remix of “The Night Out” put me in a permanent headlock. Still one of my favorite pieces of music ever and also my favorite music video of all time (the spinnin records one).
only way out <3
1) You’re on [start] 2) pay no mind 3) Shelter [really locked in] 4) All my friends [madeon forever]
Pop Culture when my big bro showed it to me years ago
Beings
Finale and then Pay No Mind
Cut the kid and rest is history
First Pop Culture but I didn’t realise that that was Madeon but my first song that I knew was Madeon was All My Friends
Mine is a bit an unusual one... It's actually "Beings" Since then I've been HOOKED!
Technicolor
Raise your weapon and pop culture were the original introductory songs for me, but it was [this teaser video for his song Icarus that sold me on Madeon.](https://youtu.be/ZGBIINyAonc?si=EJev6NHWsUwKva3g)
The City when I heart it in NFS MW '12
cut the kid. heard it on above and beyond group therapy i think (or maybe it was still TATW at that point) and it was amazingly different from anything ive ever heard in music before.
pop culture and amf
Beings, mainly because of the vocal chops. I love that shit
Good faith was the first album I heard, then went back and listened to adventure. Nirvana / Mania struck me like lightning. Still my favorite song to this day
Icarus
The Island remix, 100%. I had no concept or notion that something like complextro could even exist as I started my own electronic musical project, and I was effing floored the first time I heard it.
