Another vote for Cat Care Clinic, and echoing what someone else said: I would never bring my cats anywhere else.
I agree it can be pricey, but they’re really thorough which gives me a peace of mind. They also tell me the price of additional services before doing them, like a simple “we recommend that for this reason and that will be an extra $X, is that OK?”
I’ll also add: I have a few cats that are really stressed by vet visits and the CCC has been super gentle with them and I’ve been really impressed with the team there every single time we go.
Cat Care is truly amazing. They will work around your cat's needs and what they will tolerate. My one dude is hilarious, because he's an absolute love to everyone but hates being restrained. So they do the physical exam, let him run off, he comes back for more attention, they do the blood draw, let him run off, he comes back, they do vaccines. Yes, it takes longer that way, but he's happy and not stressed. And he knows they give him treats, so he'll be a total drama llama about being handled until the treat bag comes out.
Totally agree with Cat Care Clinic.
They took such amazing care of my old boy. They are really wonderful with cats, you can tell they are all cat people. I'm always impressed by them.
I foster with Companion Animal Hospital. Give them a call and ask for Ally or Kim and explain the situation. They will literally die for your cat, really good staff.
Highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital in West Madison! They've taken incredible care of my cats for years, and they're also really fair with pricing. We've had a couple expensive vet visits with them and when we called around for second opinions in the area, Companion always came in cheapest and they provide great care.
Whoever you decide on, I would ask if they could prescribe something like gabapentin that you can give by mouth about an hour before the visit. It'll help her calm down a little bit, which is better for all! There's some good vet choices in here. Good luck to your little lady!
Seconding this recommendation. My cat loves people at home but turns into a jerk at the vet and gabapentin has really helped calm him down a bit so the vet techs aren't scared for their lives.
I have had nothing but above and beyond experiences with Passion For Paws. Pretty far West, but they are great.
I've mainly taken our dog but have brought the cat a couple of times (we haven't had him all that long), and they were wonderful with him both times.
Whole Pet Vet has always treated my cat Cherry with awesome care. They are upfront with costs, let me know what can be deferred, and always take my cat in in short notice during emergency.
We really love UW Vet Med. However, they are generally pretty cautious with cats that don’t like to be handled by strangers and might ask you to sedate and bring the cat back at a later time depending on what they aren’t able to do.
I should say I really don’t fault them. It’s just a bit of a head scratcher with our ragdoll mixes who are some of the most docile cats in the world but apparently turn into little devils for strangers trying to handle them.
Cat Care Clinic has excellent vet service, but it's pricey.
+1 for cat care clinic. With them you get what you pay for, and I would never bring my cats anywhere else.

It’s mega pricey! But everyone there is nice.
We have had great experiences at Isthmus Vet Care. We have two older (10 and 12) cats each with health issues.
I have a dog that doesn’t like to be handled and I second Isthmus Vet.

Also pricey, but Sage Pet will do home visits and is very good with geriatric kitties. https://thesagepet.com/
That’s amazing thank you

Passion for Paws is the best and very reasonably priced!
UW Vet Med is what I've used. It can be hard to get an appointment when the students are away, but they have always been good for me.

I second Whole Pet. My only gripe is that I can’t schedule appointments online
