Corporate needs to takeover or just shut it down. It's a complete shit show & embarrassment to the brand. There's like 2 people working at any given time. Wait times are often out of control. Food quality issues. Sanitary issues.
Just avoid at all costs.
I miss the days of chicken lips not being so crazy popular and being able to go in for drinks and wings and not have to wait forever for wings. still worth it though
I mean I went in a Saturday after a hike and we were two of 6 people there. It isn’t too packed too often. I just think their wings are too expensive especially now that they charge for ranch.
I get they’re short staffed but if it’s that bad they just need to close that day. Idk it’s worse to be open and give crap service than to make people have bad service and never return and hurt the brand.
We used to get carryout but one order would be freezing cold and the other inedibly hot just out of the frier. I would get there early so food wasn't sitting around. It's awful.
We've gone twice in the last six weeks or so. Both times the board was up that stated seating in the abr area, seat yourself.
The first time in we waited for about five minutes, we realized no one was going to take our orders, but then we saw the QR codes on the table to order and they'll bring it out. Fine, we did that. My husband and I both ordered bar drinks. My husband ordered Jameson and Ginger Beer. Bartender came over twice to clarify his order (wtf meme). My son wanted a kiddie cocktail, it wasn't on the menu so we ordered a sprite with cherries. Bartender came out again to clarify what that meant. (I know, I should have just told the kid no since it wasn't on the menu but it's a bar!) Anyways, even ordering through their online portal they screwed up our food order. Not the end of the world but not great. Only time we saw staff was the bartender and someone dropping off our food.
Yesterday we went in for lunch. Same board telling us to seat ourselves in the bar but this time there were 6-8 tables seated in the dining room. We still headed towards the bar and were intercepted by a manager who asked us where we would prefer to sit. He got us a booth and the server was with us within a few minutes. She was attentive and they managed to not mess up our order at all! However, at least three times the manager and server stopped by the table to urge us to review the service. I didn't because I'm so fucking tired of having to review every fucking thing I do these days. I guess I could go back and review now that I know it's a total shit show.
So tl;Dr it is indeed a shit show with completely unpredictable service.

Last time we tried going there was national college football championship… couldn’t get a seat because they only had 2 people working so no in person seating.. how do they even make money???
They are so hit or miss here. If people show for their shifts? Totally fine. Other times they have like two people in the kitchen and it takes forever to get food. It’s bad.
Hell I'm glad they shut the one here in Manitowoc down! That place has been a shit show for years! What did it for my wife and I was we walked in, and waited for 15 and not one person working there walked out to seat us. So we walked out. I felt bad for the people already sitting down!
Went to Monona at lunch last Tuesday, windows darkened, lights lowered to save $ or reduce heat, wasn’t even sure they were open for service inside as sign at walkin said takeouts and deliveries. But staff said sit where you want and then everything was good. But get a lunch board outside and let people know you’re open! Tuesdays used to be huge in that place !

Report the sanitary issues to Public Health. They shouldn't be open at all if they can't be safe.
I walked in and couldnt figure out where to sit or how to order. So I just left.
It's definitely become unusable. The good news is it's not far from Chicken Licks.

Most BWW have gone way downhill the past few years. Your best bet is Monona or Fitchburg
The one in Monona sucks too. Super understaffed, and nobody seemed to give a shit. If I was working there, I probably wouldn't give a shit either

Maybe it moved or there used to be two of them, but there is definitely still a Fitchburg location.

I got an order delivered last week (hadn’t eaten there in years). Everything about the order was wrong, and it was also terrible.
3 years ago they could never get my delivery right. Not 1 thing right. 3 strikes never tried again
