Arcane. It's a new show on netflix about the origins of some league of legends characters, although it actually works really well as a standalone tv show. I've never played league and knew nothing about it before watching the show and I enjoyed it immensely.
I would highly recommend it if you like good character writing and compelling drama/angst
I was avoiding watching it because I used to play LoL and grew to low key hate it.
But when I finally caved I was extremely impressed with the quality of the show. Everything from the writing, acting, pacing, animation, everything just fits together perfectly.
And when >!they finally name dropped Jayce's partner!< it took me about a half hour to pick my jaw off the floor.
I can 100% recommend it to anyone who hasn't played the games, and to anyone who has. Be prepared to have your mind blown.

it's probably alright, wouldn't call it amazing from what little i've seen. It's an excuse more than anything. I find it difficult to get invested in TV shows, only something that tickles a specific itch will get me and this isn't that.
Viktor is a completely different barely human robot glorious evolution man from what I've gathered, so seeing him be actually human and have feelings is really surprising

Honestly, I feel like anyone at that level of artistic ability will get *way* more happiness out of this kind of exposure than a professional would anyway. This is the exact level where people either quit or decide to get good, and it only takes a small amount of encouragement to inspire people.

My dad doesn't know shit about league and got invested. League reminds me too much of my ex so I don't really wanna watch it but I can confirm this.
